Last weekend, Sunday specifically, I went to an event for a podcast that I listen to a lot with a friend called “Morras Malditas” and it basically tells real stories of people who share them, based on anecdotes from beyond the grave, let's say, in a pleasant, close and more normalized way. You see, in Mexico the culture of death is common, which is ultimately part of life itself. It's something I'm still getting used to, but it seems like a very good way to deal with it.
So that evening I went to my event at the Juarez Garden located on Chapultepec Avenue in the Centro neighborhood, and the atmosphere was very good, everything in line with the theme, and there was a bar of very good cocktails, but of course I went directly to spend the afternoon and evening with my beer, which on this occasion the chosen one was a Bohemia Pilsner, which is a lager type beer, with a golden color in low fermentation (lager), with 4.7 alcohol content, golden amber color, and as I reviewed it is made with Styrian hops, brought from the Czech Republic, its flavor is soft bitter, not so refreshing and quite aromatic I would say, although for the heat that is already starting in the city it was quite good.
The show was very good, with rather entertaining stories. There were a lot of people and a great beer vibe, mostly prepared in the form of a “Michelada”. I prefer mine plain, or perhaps with lemon and salt.
This beer has the most neutral flavor, in my opinion, of all the Bohemian beers. As I mentioned before, they come in several forms. I like this one too, but I'm still prefer the dark beer.
Here I'm sharing some photos to my beer partners, and let's always toast to good times with friends, loved ones, or family, and always enjoying a delicious beer. Cheers to everyone.
