Four days in Barcelona are over. We were at the world's largest trade fair for AV solutions, the ISE. After the informative day program, we also had a delicious evening program every day.
It started with a steak in a small, fine steakhouse located in a small alley.
I had a Corona there. The beer with the strong memories of 2 years of pandemic. But that doesn't make the beer any better or worse.
As always, it tasted delicious and went well with the starters and steak. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't have much of a beer selection and the waitress didn't speak English, so I wasn't brave enough to try anything else.
On the second evening, we went to a VIP party at one of our manufacturers. We were able to mix cocktails there and there was plenty of Estrella (which means star) to go with the Spanish finger food, tapas. The red cans from Estrella Damm (the brewery also comes from Barcelona) are very eye-catching. I'm not a big fan of normal Pilsner, but the atmosphere was great 😂😂😂.
We played a round of beer pong and our opponents had to drink a lot more of it.

On the last evening we went to a tapas bar. Before we left, we also had a Wegbier at the brewery's stand.
They also had the local Estrella beer. However, I decided to go for a Spanish red wine. So we had a very nice evening and were able to review the experiences of the first days of the fair.
The next morning, this beer truck was parked outside our apartment hotel. What a coincidence.
On the last day of the fair there was no more beer.

Vier Tage Barcelona sind vorbei. Wir waren auf der weltgrößten Messe für AV Lösungen, der ISE. Nach dem informativen Tagesprogramm hatten wir auch ein leckeres Abendprogramm jeden Tag.
Angefangen hat es mit einem Steak in einem kleinen, feinen Steakhaus was in einer kleinen Gasse gelegen war.
Dort gab es ein Corona. Das Bier mit den starken Erinnerungen an 2 Jahre Pandemie. Das macht aber das Bier nicht besser oder schlechter. Es hat wie immer lecker geschmeckt und gut zu den Vorspeisen und dem Steak geschmeckt. Das Restaurant hatte leider keine große Bier Auswahl und die Kellnerin sprach kein Englisch, daher war ich nicht so mutig was anderes auszuprobieren.
Am zweiten Abend waren wir bei einem unserer Hersteller auf einer VIP Party. Dort konnten wir Cocktails mixen und zu dem spanischen Fingerfood, Tapas, gab es Estrella (was Stern bedeutet) in ausreichenden Mengen. Die roten Büchsen von Estrella Damm (Die Brauerei kommt auch aus Barcelona) sind doch sehr auffällig. Ich bin ja kein großer Freund von normalem Pils, aber die Stimmung hat es reingetrieben 😂😂😂.
Wir haben ne Runde Bierpong gespielt und unsere Gegner mussten deutlich mehr davon trinken.
Neugierig habe ich auf der Webseite der Brauerei nachgeschaut was die über ihr Bier sagen.

Am letzten Abend waren wir in einer Tapas Bar. Vor der Abfahrt gab es auf dem Stand des Herstellers auch schon mal ein Wegbier.
Auch dort gab es das lokale Bier von Estrella. Ich hatte mich dann aber doch für einen spanischen Rotwein entschieden. So hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend und konnten die Erfahrungen der ersten Messetage Revue passieren lassen.
Am nächsten Morgen stand dieses Biertruck vor unserem Appartement Hotel. Welch ein Zufall. Am letzten Messetag gab es dann kein Bier mehr. #BeerSaturday
