Yes. I think that it has something to do with the comment having other text on the same line with the !BEER command.

It looks like the @beerlover bot recognized my BEER command even if it was on the same line as the others. Therefore, I assume that it does not matter where you place the ! BEER command (without the space); the bot only does not pick up every single command make by all users.
