A good friend of mine was visiting the city for the end of the year. She has moved to the capital of the country and we rarely get to spend time together. Although we went out to several places during her vacation and were able to see each other, it was time for her return and therefore a farewell until we meet again.
However, the farewell could not be any other way than the same as the welcome, with beer! Although due to the crisis it is difficult to find a good national beer, private businesses have managed to import a wide variety of brands of the drink. However, the main problem on this occasion was that we did not have cash and we needed a place that accepted transfers (yes, Cuba is the world upside down).
After a few failed attempts we ended up at the bar El Colmadito which belongs to the recreation areas of the Hotel Santiago where they were selling dispensed beer. Here we were able to relax because they accepted transfers and the drink was, although not cheap, affordable.
The stories, memories and laughter followed one another along with the beers. A drink that is synonymous with good times and good memories.
Except for a small scare when we went to pay at the time of leaving due to connection problems, everything was fine.
