Der Sommer hat Einzug in der Nordhalbkugel gehalten und es zieht immer mehr Leute nach draussen. Damit einher geht auch zumeist das Grillen mit der Familie oder mit Freunden. Das ganze gibt es ja nicht nur bei uns in Deutschland sondern überall auf der ganzen Welt, ob BBQ in Australien oder den USA oder Braaien in Südafrika.

Summer has arrived in the northern hemisphere and more and more people are drawn outside. This is usually accompanied by barbecues with family or friends. The whole thing is not only with us in Germany but everywhere in the world, whether BBQ in Australia or the U.S. or Braaien in South Africa.

Bei uns sollte es zum #Beersaturday ein paar Burger vom Grill geben. Die Burger und die Brötchen werden bei uns selbst gemacht. Für die Burger haben wir noch Rindergehacktes von der Bio-Kuh im Gefrierschrank gehabt. Das Bio-Fleisch bestellen wir bei Grutto.com. Es ist natürlich teurer als beim Discounter aber die Qualität ist viel besser. Wir essen lieber etwas weniger Fleisch, dafür aber dann qualitativ besseres Fleisch. Das besondere bei Grutto ist auch, dass die Kuh erst geschlachtet wird, wenn die ganze Kuh auch verkauft wurde. Auch der Versand klappt gut. Das Fleisch ist gut und sicher verpackt und kann dann sofort in den Gefrierschrank.

At our house there should be a few burgers from the grill for dinner. The burgers and the buns we make ourselves. For the burgers we still had ground beef from the organic cow in the freezer. We order the organic meat from Grutto.com. It is of course more expensive than the meat at the discount store but the quality is much better. We prefer to eat a little less meat, but then qualitatively better meat. The special thing about Grutto is that the cow is not slaughtered until the whole cow is sold. The shipping also works well. The meat is well and securely packaged and we put it in the freezer immediately after arrival.

Beschreibung:
Hamburgs Biertradition ist eng mit der Hanse verbunden. Schon vor 500 Jahren wurde Bier aus Hamburg exportiert. Wir brauen dieses Pils als Erinnerung an diesen wichtigen Teil der Hamburger Geschichte. Pils ist das vielleicht am beiläufigsten getrunkene Getränk. Landgang ist unser Gegenentwurf.

Zum Abendessen hatte ich mir dann ein „Pils“ von der Landgang Brauerei in den Kühlschrank gelegt. Die [Landgang-Brauerei](https://www.landgang-brauerei.de/die-biere/) ist ansässig in Hamburg und mir bislang unbekannt. Allerdings hat auch @thomasthewolf in dieser Woche einen Beitrag zum „Goldgräber Pale-Ale“ der gleichen Brauerei veröffentlich.

These are the data of the brewery to the Pils: is located in Hamburg and unknown to me so far. However, @thomasthewolf has also published this week a post on the "Goldgräber Pale-Ale" of the same brewery.

Beer style: Pilsner
Alcohol: 4,9
Color: light yellow
Bitterness units: 35 IBU
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, yeast, hops
Drinking temperature: 4-7°C
Rocks against: Thirst
Description:
Hamburg's beer tradition is closely linked to the Hanseatic League. Beer was exported from Hamburg as early as 500 years ago. We brew this Pilsner to commemorate this important part of Hamburg's history. Pilsner is perhaps the most casually drunk beverage. Landgang is our counter design.

Im Glas haben wir dann ein verführerisch aussehendes Bier mit einer prächtige, Krone, so wie ich das bei einem Pils mag. Am Geschmack gibt es nichts zu meckern. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein leckeres Pils ohne viel Schnickschnack. Bei diesem Wetter war es eine angenehme Erfrischung, die mich das ganze Bier in wenigen Zügen leeren ließ. Leider war kein zweites „Landgang“ mehr im Kühlschrank, somit musste ich auf ein anderes umsteigen.

In the glass we then have a seductive looking beer with a magnificent, crown, just as I like that in a Pils. There is nothing to complain about the taste. This is a delicious Pilsner without a lot of frills. In this weather, it was a pleasant refreshment that made me empty the whole beer in a few puffs. Unfortunately, there was no second "Landgang" left in the fridge, so I had to switch to another.
