Mill is my favorite win-con. Always has been. Back in the day (1994-95) I ran a Millstone, Stasis, Time Elemental deck. Sloooooooow. But back then, we played for ante.

Man I wish I could have been playing in the ante era of magic! Manaburn? Damage on the stack? So many things were different

I remember the feeling when I had a good card ante'd up in game Sandalar for PC, whata rush lol

Made you get good for a good reason! THen a couple of years after that we played a format called 5-color. very similar to commander, but no commander, 250 card deck size minimum, had to have at least 20 of each color represented. And, here's the kicker...was played for ante.
