RE: A Throwback on HivePH Initiatives

It didn't cross my mind to ask for funding to that level. I think it's just added unnecessary expectations to perform. The same aversion to sponsorships if the proposal arises, suddenly it's less about how you do things and more about how the other party funding your stuff wants things to work. Well, that's just my experience when it comes to soliciting from formal parties. Besides, charity work has less impact to what Hive really needs which is more exposure and added onboarding users financially capable of investing into the blockchain.

I see! I was thinking that some of you guys are doing onboarding programs and isn't that an attempt to invite users that are also willing to invest in the blockchain? It's not necessarily charity but things like onboarding + some exposure on crypto events. There's coinfest asia which could be a way for hive to get its own booth just like in dubai & Venezuela

We spread apart across the country so trying to get any meaningful coop is slim on one area. And even with the numbers, there's the amount of work to organize the event which we don't have a lot of committed users to take on the task. In my area, I'm the only one that is on Hive, and the next nearest person is a few km away accessible by boat or plane. I think the Dbuzz team was able to push through events like these but that's a different group to reach out to.
