2022, 2 years ago. I’m glad I didn’t miss this one out. Hello, Hivers! This is Agnola and we will be looking back to the good old days.
Celebrating New Year hits different. Welcoming another year, welcoming opportunities, challenges and building self-growth and improvements. How life moves fast?
This was 2 years ago, us welcoming 2022, a memory marked my heart.
The Pantone color of the year 2022 was Very Peri. I love how it matched my favourite color—purple. Ube or purple yam is my favourite flavor and I felt so ecstatic. 😘
Looking at the cake, year 2022, reminiscing those past memories and I am so thankful I’ve made it to year 2022. As we moved forward and the clock rang exactly 8pm, we’ve decided to play games.
I really enjoyed the game, rolling a tomato and the bottles has money inside. I got 300 pesos and from the other game, I got 550. Instant money for my shopping habit, hehe. 😆
I went to get a bottle of juice and sat down. My eyes are smiling, this is so genuine, thinking, “This is a nice start to start my journey, hoping 2022 is my best year.” And it was and I’m still hoping 2024 will also be, better.
Moreover, as a food lover, or shoud I say, as a lechon lover (roasted pig) I immediately took a plate and picked the pork skin as for my first bite. The sound is so crunchy, the taste, so delicious.
Carbonara is also one of my favourite foods. The creamiest sauce and the softness of pasta, everything is so perfect when I had pasta on our table. Just a typical carbonara lover.
I thanked God for all the food we had on the table. A new year, a blessed start.
I realized that the best thing about new year last 2 years ago is not all about the food on our table but the best thing about 2022 is that I have a complete family to welcome the new year, a family that always got my back and will always be there no matter what happens. As I looked back, there's so much for me to be thankful from all the best things that happened into my life, the blessings, the opportunities, the challenges that I surpassed and of course for being brave and strong for the whole year. I can’t imagined I was able to conquer the year 2022 and it happened, the blessed year.
Let’s cheers for another year, another year to put all our efforts to have the best year. Let’s cheers for those hardwork that paid off, let's have a toast for those missed opportunities we had, for the struggles that we surpassed, for all the good and the bad things, for our family, for God, and for ourselves. We did a great job and we will do our best for this year 2024!
