Hello hiver friends :)
I have been away for months, but here I am again finding solace in hive, finding my unoccupied bench. Its just life caught us up sometimes. No words could escape from my imaginings to jot here as the days goes by. But here, drivin by the heavy rains on this dim lighted room by the windows, I think I had to share it. It is the reminder from the book that I read tonight. "The Experience 365 Daily Devotions." Somehow the message resonates with what we were going through. It is as if I am told with the answer to my own question.
You are safe in God's hands.
Receive what He offer in his left; Sacred heart.
Hold the right that is inviting you to come, ready to pull you up.
Remember the day that the Lord delivered David from all His enemies.
The lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my rock, In whom I take refuge,
My shield and the horn my my salvation,
my stronghold and my refuge;
My savior, You save me from violence.
" I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised.
And I am saved from my enemies." 2 Samuel 22:1-4
The songs enriches my deepest thoughts and somehow it gives comfort and as being realistic at the same time. In this world, people are not always kind. There are mistrust and betrayal that when you encounter it, they can crushed your heart. People sometimes do not like you for no reason at all. They just jotting your wrong moves and then viola you are out. They sometimes follow what their guts tell them not knowing and caring the good you can offer to them. You are just replaceable. Your good intentions are not counted. It will be easy for them to cancel other people from there life. They know what they wants and easily throws what they don't like. Talking about privileged life and how unfair life could be. Sad reality. Where can your turn?
In this suffering, there you can turn to God. If God is all you have then you have everything. Trust only God because people is unpredictable. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Sometimes stable but easily changes minds. Even ourselves changes too due to our circumstances. People have there own choice and those affected by those choices are left hanging and disoriented.
It is up to us when to move on and be courageous to face what is there at the moment.
In troubles, we might easily get angry and like to find the faults and blame it to God but by choosing to trust Him instead is what you needed the most in those times. Keep the promise that He will deliver you from your enemies, may it is other people or your own self.
Sometimes in life we may betrayed, misjudged, people let is down and attack us. Be hurt if you must but do not turned away from God. Allow Him to enter your life, take His hands that is offered to you. That offer is Him being you rock, fortress, deliverer, refuge, shelter, healer, salvation, stronghold, savior. What more you are we looking for?
