Babies are God's precious gift. A woman is more blessed when she can carry a baby in her womb cause not all are fortunate enough to do the latter. Well, whatever you belong just bear in mind that God's time is always the best. Trust His ways and always remember that His plans are better than ours.
Hello, my dear fellow hivers! How's everything going there? I hope and pray that all of you are doing good and in good health as well. So, for today's blog am gonna share with you the most awaited time, the christening of my daughter.
It's been a month since this moment happened and just this time I can share it with you then. Enjoy reading until the end guys. Stay tuned!
The day has come! While waiting for the mass, I took a selfie photo with the three of us (insert daddy) who is working in the United Kingdom. My daughter is sleeping at this time. Well, it's good because maybe she will cry if she's awake. She is not used to wearing this dress and it is somehow so hot. Anyway, there are electric fans inside the church. So, there's no need to worry.
Then the ceremony started. At this time my daughter was crying. Well, it's manageable! I brought with me my chargeable fan and her pacifier. But the ceremony took so long which made my arms feel numb. It's normal because Kate's weight is a little bit heavier. Thank God I was able to tolerate it until the end.
Right after the ceremony, we make use of the time to take a group photo together with the Godfathers and Godmothers. By the way, my heart was beyond full the moment when sir @ybanezkim26 and inday @indayclara said yes to my invitation and a favor that they both will be the Godfather and Godmother of my daughter. I am forever grateful for their valuable presence during this day. Feel so honored and blessed then. Despite their hectic schedule, they both allotted time for this.
Aside from their presence, they brought presents for my daughter. According to Sir Kim, it's good for five years. At first, since I didn't open it yet I was a bit puzzled as to why. The moment I opened it that's the time I found out why. OMG! So much precious stuff for my daughters then. So kind, thoughtful, and generous. May God's blessings come a thousandfold for your generosity, Sir Kim and Inday Clara.
And to the rest of the Godmothers and Godfathers of my daughter, no words can suffice how grateful I was that all of you were present during this memorable moment for my daughter. Know that both your presence and presents are highly appreciated. May the Lord bless all of you a thousandfold for being so generous also.
Although my husband is not present at this moment he never fails to support us in all aspects. His sacrifices and efforts for us to have a better life will forever be cherished in our hearts. I know it's not easy to stay away from your family which is why my grand salute to him and for that we owe him a lot.
A simple lunch follows after the ceremony at Ze Marco's Restaurant Function Hall. It was ma'am @callmesmile who led the prayer. I chose these menus they have there because it tastes delicious. Though a bit pricey well it's all worth it.
Picture taking with them after taking our lunch. Their precious smiles melted my heart. I am hoping that their stomachs are full. Ahahahaha!
Aside from the presence of my most valued friends is the presence of my family both mother and father's side. I am forever grateful for their undying support ever since I was born. Indeed, no one can ever replace their special place in my heart.
These are the simple yet heartily given giveaways for those who spend their time celebrating this momentous event with us. Since most of the Godmothers and Godfathers of my daughter a bloggers/writers which is why I opted to have a ballpen engraved with their names on it as one of my giveaways aside from the acrylic refrigerator magnet.
Before we go our separate ways, we have a group photo at the venue. Time runs so fast. 3 hours at the venue was not enough, despite how badly we wanted to extend it since it was free, yet each one of us had some special errands to do then. I am so speechless and very happy. Indeed, they made my day!
All the Glory and Credit to our Heavenly Father for giving us a wonderful day to enjoy life together with our loved ones.
