Hello Hivers 😊 Another day for a new blog! I hope everyone has a great day 😊
(On our way to Lapu-Lapu City)
It was a wonderful day when the Christmas party for our teachers at Guadalupe Elementary School took place in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. Despite the distance in Compostela, I made sure my husband could enjoy a break, providing him with a day off from looking after our son.

Our Christmas celebration took place at the stunning Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, nestled in Marigondon, Mactan Island, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. With over a hundred teachers in attendance, the entrance fee was 1800.00 per person, inclusive of food and access to their various facilities such as biking, coconut throwing, kayaking, and more. Hoping it lived up to expectations, especially since it was my first visit and my husband's second.
We smoothly journeyed through the Lapu-Lapu City old bridge, avoiding traffic by leaving home early and arriving at the resort around 7:00 in the morning.
Their expansive reception and checkout area exuded a grand Christmas ambiance. We delighted in capturing moments with our co-teachers, striking poses against the backdrop of the festive atmosphere.
The hotel receptionist adorned us with wristbands featuring the distinctive Plantation Bay Resort and Spa logo.
Following that, she provided a comprehensive orientation about the vast resort, detailing the plethora of amenities and services available.
My amazement grew as I discovered the expansive saltwater area beneath the reception and checkout space, featuring a captivating school of fish and beautifully crafted man-made stone landscapes.
Adjacent to the reception area, this picturesque scene unfolded, offering a breathtaking view of the expansive, crystal-clear saltwater, surrounded by hotel rooms. The immaculate and stunning surroundings prompted us to capture the moment with a series of photos.
Boarding their electric service jeep, we headed towards Orion Beach, the venue for our awaited party.
Upon arrival, a small stage adorned with a Guadalupe Elementary Teachers Christmas Party banner greeted us. Tents were set up to shield us from the intense sunlight, and, of course, we couldn't resist capturing more moments with a round of snapshots. 😁
Prior to the commencement of the party, we seized the chance to wander around, soaking in the fantastic and soothing views at the Orion Beach area. The landscape featured what I believed to be an old acacia tree and, of course, the alluring blue sea water that, despite my lack of swimming skills, tempted me to take a playful dive—cue the laughter. 😂
An enchanting sight awaited us on the way to Orion Beach—the captivating gray sedimentary rock formations with a gradient of colors. The lush greenery that surrounded the area was a visual delight. Naturally, we couldn't resist capturing these picturesque scenes in photos.
The festivities kicked off at approximately 9 o'clock in the morning. The event commenced with a prayer, followed by heartfelt messages, engaging games, and exciting raffles.
Subsequently, we indulged in a delectable lunch—honestly, every dish served was irresistibly mouthwatering, leaving us completely satisfied.
After the party, we eagerly planned to immerse ourselves in the pristine, azure water, relishing the cold, refreshing feel. The expansive surroundings provided a perfect backdrop as my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the moment.
Moving on to our next destination, we reached the kayaking area. Excitement surged within me as it marked my inaugural attempt at this water sport.
It turned out to be an experience I cherished, sharing the thrill with my husband, who was on his second go. Notably, the activity was a favorite among many international visitors, particularly Koreans.
The view captivated me completely. It was undeniably a paradise, an ideal haven for unwinding and rejuvenating one's soul.
Sharing that time with my husband was wonderful, creating yet another special memory in our journey as a couple, moments we can cherish indefinitely.
The Christmas party was truly fantastic, offering a delightful experience in this gorgeous paradise.
That’s all for my blog today. My sincerest thanks for taking the time to read and support my blog, until next time. See you!

Yes maam, super love it. I can't wait to read it hehehhe I'm not so good at taking good photos with nice angles 😁
Wow! It's my first time seeing this resort. 😮 It's such a wonderful place to unwind, although the entrance fee is way too expensive. But it's very much worthy, considering the inclusive access to food and facilities. It's evident that you really had fun. Thanks for sharing this with us, miss @ancrafts! 💙🌊
@jeannmazing actually maam, but for usual days the entrance fee would go higher into 2500 good thing we were able to get a discount since we were many.
Hello po. I am interested to discover new places like you did. It seems like I also need to visit and experience the place. Thank you for sharing this!
