How I Celebrated My 21st Birthday | Announcement of Winners

This is a bit late for an update but I also want to share these memories to everyone through blogging just to document my life. You don’t have to greet me since my birthday was November 17 LOL.

This will just be a short blog of what happened to my birthday, I already made a post about my reflections during that day but I took a lot of pictures and wanted to document it.

I normally celebrate my birthday like a regular day, but this time, I looked forward to it…I bought a new white waffle shirt, just a simple one, and planned a date celebration.

I was actually frustrated 1 week before my birthday because the news said that there would be a typhoon during my birthday and I was sad that my plans were ruined knowing that it was the first time that I looked forward to that day.

My outfit was the wrong timing, I was thinking of wearing a white theme outfit – which I did know that it was raining. It was all good anyway.

Thankfully, the weather wasn’t that bad that day on our area so I decided to continue my plan. I went to their house and told her parents that I will go with her to eat outside. To my surprise, she had a gift for me that I love! (I won’t show it here, guess what it is LOL).

Our plan was to eat samgyeopsal but since there was a typhoon, I think the store was not operating that day – so we went to a mall instead and ate to Mang Inasal. We were both craving to eat in that fast food chain and decided to go there.

We ordered 1 unli rice and 1 a regular one – is this a forbidden technique? Filipino knows about this! We were also shocked by the serving of chicken because it was huge enough for one order and it was a 5/5 experience.

After eating, we went to the art section in the mall, it is just a hallway but with the art at some part of it. It was usually paintings, but this time, small sculptures are on the art section and we looked into it. I am not sure if they are really sculptures haha.

Then we went to the most exciting part, ARCADE!

I am really a fan of playing here, but the tokens are a bit expensive – during my birthday, I saved some part of my money that is reserved for my celebration. I bought tokens worth 100 pesos which is already enough for the both of us.

She is not really fond of arcade, it is not her thing, but I appreciate her effort and act to play with me because she knows that I love it. We played some game but what I love the most was the basketball.

I am not a player, and I don’t even know how to play it, but I was just watching videos on Facebook before where couple are playing this and it’s a bit err (I don’t want to be corny). So, I tried it, it was fun!

I love playing claw machine the most but the required tokens for the machines were 2-3 tokens and I think it is not worth it HAHA! We had a decent number of tickets on the line but we decided not to exchange it to the counter because other people have thousand tickets! Medyo nakakahiya hahaha

Lastly, she treated me a Blizzard from Dairy Queen – it was actually my first time having this one but she said that the texture and appearance of the one that we bought was a bit different maybe because the store was just having their opening and more customers are on the line.

We went home after having a lot of conversation. I had a lot of fun that day with her!

After going home, my friends told me that we should drink some just for the celebration. We decided to buy a kwatro and gin bilog just for chilling. I was a bit drunk that day, but my birthday was just extra special that day. So thankful and happy to have good people around me.

Oh it's your Debut? No party at home?

Months had passed since the last time I ate at Mang inasal. I was still in Manila I think.

Little secret, the taste of chicken here differs in Iloilo. Well for me, as you know the original branch was there?

DQ! My favorite mango cheese! Huhu one more month before I could go out!
Will definitely eat here and have 🍨🍨

Hahaha I will prioritize college than a party. A small celebration like this is enough. Besides, I'm not at home... boarding house since malayo 'yung University na pinpasukan ko sa bahay namin.

It's been a long time as well since we ate at Mang Inasal, nakakamiss kaya natry ulit. Lagi na lang Jollibee kasi.

Mango cheese nga masarap! Igala mo na si baby hahaha
