What I am really holding on to is the hope brought about by the sense of community. We wouldn't have made it out alive if it weren't for our neighbors. Even if we're all in the same state of calamity, humanity has not been absent. People are still helping out whenever they can.

This is something I am extremely grateful for because of my very generous neighbors. We might have been devastated by a supertyphoon which caused a lot of people to look for basic needs but there are people who are still sharing their blessings no matter what.

Yes! It's heartwarming to think that even in the midst of a calamity, Filipinos still have each other's backs. I hope this scarcity in resources doesn't go on for long. Heard tension is brewing in places that have little resources. :(
