The Barangay Concepcion is also known as the Home of Sweet Lanzones. (Lanzones is also known as Langsat, it has a brownish-yellow fruit with a sweet-juicy taste). Barangay Concepcion is known for the sweet lanzones, in view of the fact that our Barangay is the producer and a supplier of the sweet lanzones. The different owner of a fruit farm here in Barangay Concepcion offers "eat all you can", in which the customers will pay just for an affordable price and they can eat different fruits inside the farm, some of the Concepcion people sell the fruits because they also see it as an opportunity to have their income and can feed their families, but there is always the heart of a true Concepcion people wherein they are giving free fruits to those who visit Barangay Concepcion on the day of the Festival. Also, the seeds could be eaten, but you need to let it dry for about 20 minutes, after 20 minutes you have to heat a pan, and then you need to sauté the seeds until you are able to easily remove the cover of it. Durian this fruit's skin has a short sharp thorns. When you open this fruit you really have to be careful and make sure to follow the lines that was in the skin of the fruit because that will be your guide so that you can open the fruit well, but note that this is very delicious, actually this is one of my favorite as its flesh has a pillowy texture and it comes with a creamy flavor, but other people doesn't like it because of the strong smell, in which they called it a foul-smelling fruit.
