🌱Short Story to share

✨When I was a kid, I remembered every time we had a celebration, special occasion and to give thanks for the achievement that anyone's received in the family we celebrated 🥳 at Alibuag cold spring🌱.

✨ My childhood days were blessed with experiences that stay in my hearts and mind not only the place, the moment but with that family in blood and the celebration with love 💕

The Alibuag cold spring🌱 is one and only spring near our place and that spring comes in our mind where everyone's best choice to visit and enjoy. At the time, I remembered, the entrance fee was only ten pesos.

We took a jeep (jeepney) from our place to Alibuag cold spring🌱 highway for 15 to 18 minutes and we walked into the cold spring🌱 place and it took us to get there at 8 to 10 minutes to walk from the high way where we dropped.

✨ Once upon a time, if everyone can't ride, we won't ride and no wants ro ride because we went together so we all went home together. We leave in the cold spring at the last hour and it is not easy for us to find a ride to take us home what I mean is the jeepney. We'd be able to board the bus, but they wouldn't let us, because we're all wet. When we visit the cold spring sometimes or more often we don't bring clothes to change. We don't know how to explained at those days but we were glad to be home soaking wet, especially since we are from Alibuag cold spring.

That night, my cousin sent me a message saying that we're leaving for Alibuag Cold Spring with cousins and Aunt.

All right, wait a minute. I've got something to say. Honestly, if I have a chance back to my hometown we always have a swimming bonding with cousins and I spend a day on that. Everything's scheduled for my wanderings when I'm on vacation in my hometown. But, some changes in my scheduled set in one message at that time. Then I replied yes and it's okay.

After lunch, we're all ready to meet on the road. I didn't bring anything, my aunt and cousin brought us some food.

🌱Bao-Bao (Three Wheeler)

We will go to our destination ride on these three wheelers. It is called baobao in our area. The Baobao is capable of carrying up to six passengers, not including the driver.

As we ride the Bao-bao, it takes us twelve minutes to the first entrance where they collect the environmental fee.

We stopped at the first entrance to pay the environmental fee they collected for five pesos each person.

We're in the cold spring two minutes from the environmental fee area.

It takes fourteen to fifteen minutes of travel to reach the Alibuag Cold Spring 🌱.

Now we are at the entrance gate. We first paid the Bao-bao fare of thirty five pesos (₱35.00) each.

🌱Coin purse

I took out my coin purse to pay the bao-bao fare, after I gave thirty five pesos I noticed my ante's coin purse, I smiled because my coin purse was just too small and I can still see something smaller.

They've got swimming equipmemt for rent in this area. Especially for children who are not capable of swimming to protect themselves.

🌱Cashier

We've been paying five hundred ten pesos each for the six of us. Entrance fee is thirty five (₱35.00) each, cottage (big) is three hundred pesos (₱300). For the total amount paid, five hundred forty pesos (540.00)
included in the Environmental Fee over all of it.

🌱The Alibuag Cold Spring💚

Welcome to "Albuag Cold Spring" in Medina Misamis Oriental, Philippines."

The Alibuag cold spring🌱 is the best place for everyone to visit.

There are also food vendors, as well as swimming equipments for rent. There is a store where you can buy anything, and you don't even have to go out.

🌱Let me show you this place💚

You have to go down the stairs before you can look at the natural beauty of the water.

You can see the water from up here, as well as the cottages. There's a lot of trees around in the cold spring that make more particularly cold in the area. I only come back to this place once a year, and that's why I get so excited when I go down.

(Bring back the memories of the past years, we walked around this cold spring to get to the other side, and the cold spring of Alibuag doesn't look like this.)

Now, it's been improved and visited by a lot of visitors. They built a road round it, the cottage's paved, the roof's nice, and they put up a little bridge that could be easily crossed.

This is what you'll see when you go down from the stares, the wide area and clean water. It looks like a big swimming pool but the only difference is that the water is a natural cold spring. It's very chilly out there. (We put soft drinks in the water to cool them back then)

The water lever in the pool is four to seven feet.

There's clear water in Alibuag cold spring, and everyone can't be in the water because of the coldness of the water.

If you jump into the water you just have to make sure you don't hit anyone, and you're good at swimming.

You'll be able to rent a pool life preserver that will keep you in the water long enough.

Everyone's going to bathe in the cold spring, but because it's cold, no one's going to stay in the water much longer, so you can see in the picture that other people are sitting on the stairs after they've been swimming.

It's 7 feet deep at this part.

🌱Cottage

Food can be brought free of corkage.

This is the cottage we picked for three hundred pesos.

💚Foods

📍Saba Banana

We've got this saba banana for our snacks. It's delicious and sweet, just the right ripeness. It's one of the foods we're always bringing when we're bonding water.

We've got a lot of food for the snacks. We talked while we ate and reminisced about our time there many years ago befor we swim the cold spring.

If you ever notice that one coke bottle, it's the drinking water that's in there. We've got no container, so we stuck it in there.

Now that we've got Ferrero Rocher including to our snacks, it's a whole new level. Because we couldn't afford to buy it before.

We decided to change into swim clothes after eating and talking about past memories.

Now we're smiling as we touch the cold water of the spring, and we say it's cold, and we're shivering, and we're taking a picture to remind us of that day.

It's nice to be bathing in a cold spring again. I've been feeling the coldness of the water, and I've been feeling the memories of years ago. At a depth of seven feet, I swam to the other side. I stayed in the water when I came to the other side, and when I was in the cold spring, and i didn't swim back. Sometimes my legs get stiff when I don't stop moving. All I'm doing is putting my body into the water.

I was looking around and I was so happy to be back in this cold spring again.

We're going to meet again next year after this vacation. We'll all go back to our duties, jobs and places we're currently living in.

The closing time for the Alibuag Cold Spring is 5:00 p.m. We were changing clothes and leaving before closing time after we washed.
