Hi again, I'm Ana Jane Mendoza Acot, 20 years old, I was born and rise in E.B Magalona, Negros Occidental. My favorite color is blue and I love to sleep all day. I have 5 siblings, 2 girls and 3 boys I'm the youngest and the sixth child. I'm a family-oriented person, I love hanging out with my siblings every time we have a chance. I'm taking care of my niece and nephew when I'm at home.
Looking at parents sacrifices and struggles I want to become successful someday and give them a comfortable life. I have my own struggles too, and one of them are taking the course that I would never imagine myself to be like that. Teaching wasn't for me, I guess, but then again they wanted me to take it. And here I am taking Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino. The truth is, I wanted to become a lawyer and take political science instead of BSED-FILIPINO. Being at the situation wherein choices and opinions can't be heard is devastating. My 20 years of existence was a roller coaster journey for me.
My Inspiration
My father was a farmer and also a tricycle driver. He managed to support my siblings and gave us everything we need. He is a man with dignity and pride, he loves taking care of his siblings even though his income wasn't big. My father's name is Domingo Palabrica Acot, 61 years old. He would do everything he could so that we won't suffer from hunger. He is my first love and also my standard, my father has a big heart to everyone including the people around us. They look up into him, cause he managed to support me and my siblings financially so that we can study and graduate with a degree. He never told us to look down to the people who aren't the same level as me.
His faith to the Lord straighten our family in daily living, almighty God is the center of our family. He made me believe that God exists and my faith to the Lord was from him. I grow up in the church and I'm proud to become who am I today. I'm thankful to my parents and specially to my mom. She is Merlinda Mendoza Acot, 58 years old. She is a housewife and also a farmer. My mom was a great mom to us, she likes scolding us every now and then. But because of it we managed to live and stand on our own. Mom is always there for me, she loves me so much. I saw joy in her eyes every time ill come home. She cook my favorite vegetables and made a fresh juice from her garden. My mom is amazing, I'm blessed to have her in my life.
My support system
Meet my lovely siblings, they are my support system -financially, emotionally, and spiritually. It's beyond words can define how much I treasure their support. I'm thankful to have them in mylife. They're opposite of my personality. We're different individuals that comes from the same womb. My siblings argue most of the times but before the day end they will or we will fix what should be fixed. I'm not good at communicating to them and they misunderstood me most of the time, but I admire there patience towards me. The dedication they have in life are my inspiration to succeed in any ways. They managed to survive and so am I.
My Hobbies
My past time was writing poems and poetry. Just a random poems and titles, just to lessen my boredom. I'm not good at writing poems and poetry, all the pieces that I wrote is just a past time but I didn't take it seriously. I struggles in many things, I'm bubbly but not confident enough. When I performed my own piece I'm satisfied in the outcome. I love performing and making myself proud all the time. It is my way to express my feelings and my emotions. I don't have nothing to show case but I'm proud to be me.
