Dinner at Black Smokehaus at Mandaue, Cebu

Good evening to everyone here on hive. How is your Friday so far? I hope that you had a great day. Earlier today we decided to eat outside since it has been a while since we've eaten outside. We searched on the internet for some resto or dinners that are near our place and we found this barbeque smokehouse that is a walking distance from our place so we decided to eat there. The name of the place is Black Smokehaus, located in Alang-Alang, Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines.

Upon arriving at the place, the staff opened the doors for us and greeted us with a smile on their face and that is already a plus point for me in regards to good service. We ordered two dishes, the first one is called pulled pork set, and then my partner ordered their best-seller dish, smoked brisket.

A sort of barbecue food called smoked brisket is prepared by slowly cooking a beef cut, usually the brisket, over a low heat source for an extended length of time. The meat is seasoned with a dry rub or marinade and then put on a barbecue or smoker, where it is grilled for many hours over wood chips or charcoal until it is tasty and tender. Sliced smoked brisket is frequently served with sides like coleslaw and barbecue sauce. It is a well-liked meal in barbecue restaurants and is frequently offered at get-togethers and barbecues in backyards.

When a pig roast, often from the shoulder or Boston butt, is slow cooked until it is sufficiently tender to be "pulled" or shredded into little pieces, the meal is known as pulled pork. Usually, a dry rub or marinade is used to season the pork before it is cooked with wood chips or charcoal in a smoker or on a grill. The meat takes on the tastes of the smoke and seasoning during the lengthy cooking process, which can last for many hours. When the pork is finished cooking, it is shred using two forks or other tools, and before it is eaten, it is frequently combined with barbecue sauce.

The pulled pork and smoked brisket were absolutely delicious! The pork was slow-cooked to perfection, resulting in juicy and tender meat that was easy to shred and packed with flavor. The smoky taste of the barbecue combined with the savory dry rub or marinade made for a mouthwatering dish. The smoked brisket was equally impressive, with a rich and savory flavor that was enhanced by the slow cooking process. The meat was tender and moist, and it had a beautiful smoke ring that indicated the hours of careful cooking it had undergone. Both the pulled pork and the smoked brisket were served with a tasty barbecue sauce that added an extra layer of flavor to the dishes. Overall, the pulled pork and smoked brisket were some of the best examples of barbecue that I've ever had, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves good food.
