As the year winds down, it has become a tradition as (I observed) that people will reflect on all the happenings of the whole year and wrapping everything into a year-end post to be followed by the things they look forward to, their manifestations, goals, and resolutions for the coming new year. Some do it in a personal way and some also do it in their Hive ways. However for this year-end post of mine, I don't know, I'm not sticking to any formula, I just want to let my heart pour out all the words I've been meaning to say like a waterfall flowing freely.
T'was year 2022 when I started my Hive journey ,twas also in the same year until 2023 that I was at my peak in my blogging adventure. Alongside with my fellow teacher-bloggers, @indayclara, @ybanezkim26 and @intoy.bugoy, we conducted and organized left and right Hive and OCD onboarding orientation attracting and welcoming users from the corners of my home province, Cebu. We visited various schools, inspiring teachers, high school students, and college students on this promising platform of Hive.
Fast forward to 2024, this year, I decided to finally pick up where I left off and continue my Thesis which had been halted during the pandemic and my beautiful motherhood journey.
It was during the onboarding process that I observed how the writing skills of the student-bloggers and teacher-bloggers not to mention my own growth as a writer had remarkably improved. This inspired me to craft on my new Research proposal entitled "Improving Creative Writing of the Grade 12 students through the Web3 Hive Blockchain Blogging". Yes, this was my thesis which sparked interest among my Research panelists and to anyone who hears it. And guess what, my Research proposal was officially approved last January 10, 2024.All of this is thanks to HIVE.** π₯Ήπ
My study went on, and in the first quarter of the year, at least 25 Grade-12 students had their accounts through the OCD Onboarding Orientation here on Hive. Students enjoyed their blogging journey with enthusiasm and experienced the real-world audience and connection they can get from writing that is lacking in the traditional way of teaching writing in the classroom. Everything went smoothly and I successfully presented and defended my Thesis last September 7, 2024. All of this is thanks to HIVE. π₯Ήπ
As the months roll fast and here we are about to close this wonderful year of 2024, just three days ago, December 28, 2024, I walked down the aisle and stood on the stage wearing my black toga, and the blue cap that I have been long dreaming of. With a heart bimming of pride and gratitude, I finally finished and graduated with my Masters Degree. All of this is thanks to HIVE. π₯Ήπ
The journey was filled of challenges but every step was made made possible because of HIVE. Words aren't enough to express for how thankful I am and how blessed I am to be part of this Hive Platform. To the maker of this hive, this humble bee will be forever grateful. πDAGHANG SALAMAT HIVE. π₯Ήπ
