Hello there! It's me, Mae!
I hope you all are doing well. I am overwhelmed to share this another anticipated event in our school. The theme is, "transcend beyond endless possibilities".
This day is the 28th Founding anniversary of Bacolod City College. Going back three years ago āout of countless students who dreamed of entering BCC, I am beyond grateful to be one of the few given this privilege. As an eldest child, I am eager to finish college. The day that I knew I passed the entrance exam, my heart was happy and I have no regrets entering this institution.

Before the event started, I arrived early along with my classmates. I am the one who's in charge of our attendance haha. As my colleagues started to arrive and sign for their attendance, we took pictures and soon after the invocation began. Next, our college administrator gave a heartfelt and encouraging opening remark. She said that we must be proud of ourselves for given the opportunity to pursue college with free tuition fees. She reminded us that this opportunity is something truly special and should not be taken for granted. Reflecting on the institutionās long history, she noted that for over 28 years āthe college has been committed to offering high-quality education that stands as a testament to the enduring dedication of the faculty and staff to students' personal and academic growth. She further explained that the founding anniversary is not just a celebration of the college itself, but a moment to honor and celebrate usāthe students, who are at the heart of its mission and success. She closed her remarks saying āEnjoy and have fun Bccian, Welcome everyone!Ź¼.

Then, the most awaited cheerdance competition of four houses āCoEd(College of Education), CBOA(College of Business and Office Administration), BIndTech, and ACT-BSIS started. The first performance was in our department, the active lynx. Followed by the blazing phoenix (BIndTech). Next, blue ravens (CoEd) and lastly the ferocious lions (CBOA). The activity center is full of energy and the loudest cheer of each department. We are holding purple long balloons and standing while our department shows their performances. No one is sitting hahaha.
After the performances, the winner was announced and CBOA emerged as the champion. Knowing that we held the 2nd place, we're still happy and satisfied with it.
Lastly, the event was done and I bid goodbye to my classmates. As I am walking through the exit, memories of my first year sinks in. The first time stepping on the campus wearing a school uniform. Entering the room with new faces and making friends was still fresh in my mind. Those times were a mix of emotions. I don't know what will be my fate pursuing college with different people. How I can conquer my stage fright when reporting and saying something important in our class. But along the way there is so much to know about myself. Now, I am in my 3rd year of college. Ready to give the best in me and still uncovering a lot about who I am.
Hoping to see you all again! Bye byeā„ļø

Let me borrow some energy to attend. I'm quite drained at the moment. I only showed up once and never again within the two weeks of celebration. Hahaha!
Ah yes, borrow all the energy you need. But make sure you'll reserve some for the capstone hahaha.
