When you become a mother, you always prioritize what's best for the family and that is a good thing however it also is not a bad thing to give yourself time and wander alone once in a while to recharge and see the other side of yourself.
Hello amazing people! Today I will be sharing with you my thoughts about self-time. Self-time hits differently when I become a mother. Every time I plan to have one, guilt takes over. I know it's not right to think that way, but I guess, most mothers still do.
After the war between my if's and but's, I decided to have a once in a blue moon self-time. I peacefully left my children at their grandmother's care. I travelled alone for almost three hours to reach the SM CEBU, one of the biggest malls in the city.
I strolled around alone but I never felt lonely because of the new sceneries that entertained my eyes, very different from the mountainous town where I reside. The surroundings were full of life and the busy mall goers added energy to the place.
I got to make myself amazed with what I saw and enjoyed them all heartily. Many stalls were displayed everywhere at any direction. I was able to relieve my stress just by strolling around.

Even though I wanted to just have time for myself and chose things for myself, I couldn't help but put my attention to these cute and colorful headbands for my baby girl, like, who wouldn't, right?
Then, I passed by these fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables. However, I did not bother to look closer because we had many of it back home, fresh from my garden!
Who would not take a head turn if you passed by these Philippine delicacies? Yes, so much to choose come with different flavors. I did, grab some for myself and for my family back home.
I thought street foods can be found in the street, but look, we had them inside the mall! How amazing, right? No wonder, this mall is one of the best. It serves you everything you possibly want or need.
If you want souvenirs, this side of the malls offered a lot of it from biggest to smallest, native and local made. Unfortunately, I didn't like souvenirs that much, so I went up to find more of my liking.
The National Book Store!
This is it! The place of my liking. I spent almost half an hour scanning and choosing books and materials to purchase.
Dance Rehearsals
As I went down to grab something to eat, these teenagers caught my eye while having their dance rehearsals. This stage was located in front of the mall's food court so it was crowded. I enjoyed watching them as I personally liked dancing, too. Afterwards, I went to a fast food to address my crumbling stomach.

What an experience! My first time ordering through this machine. I used to take my order in a person-to- person manner, not like this. Fortunately, after almost ten minutes I got to successfully ordered my food. I was giggling silently while waiting at my table and was amused of that first time experience, what an unforgettable self time indeed!
I enjoyed my meal alone in the table. I took my time an ate slowly, I am not in the rush. Just for that day, I've got to enjoy my food and ate slowly. No babies around to think about, just myself.
After the meal, more potato fries!
While eating my fries, I witnessed and jammed at the live band that played instruments with some hyped music. The music rejuvenated my mood more and more.
On my way out, these cute little Barbie dolls caught my attention, reminded me of my childhood dream that I never had. However, I did not buy one, I'm too adult for it and my baby girl was too young for it as well, so I just took a shot and smiled.
