You may not be a player but you cannot deny that Mobile Legends have been the trend these days and even the past years. It is only my opinion that almost all Filipinos play this game, but I think you would agree too.

I think our craze with this game have started to boom much more when a Filipino team have won the world championship. There is no denying that Filipinos dominate the gaming scene in Mobile Legends.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) which is a game that matches 2 teams of 5 players against each other in real-time. Players navigate a hero they have chosen to fight against enemy heroes. This game was developed by Moonton, released in 2016. It gained a lot of popularity in Southeast Asia, especially in our country, Philippines.

As a player, I find the game entertaining and fun as it is easy to play. However, the game is now congested with bad players that makes the game more difficult. This article will provide other positive and negative impact of this product, according to my own experience.

MLBB is a free-to play game. Anyone can download it freely on application stores in their smartphones without having to pay a fee. However, there are in-game purchases where players buy modification of their game experience. Players of MLBB are usually kids, teenagers and people in their twenties. Since it is free, even young kids can access the game. Without supervision, this kids are exposed to violent words used in game such “slain”.

The game is easy to learn, unlike other mobile games like Wild Rift as it is less complex. It is more playable than other MOBA games which makes it appealing to people that are not really exposed to such games. The game became undeniably famous and more players would join the trend. However, toxic players have emerged and made the game a lot harder. Players would leave the game and chooses inappropriate game heroes which leads to their team losing. This stresses out disciplined players that only want to enjoy the game.

MLBB provides an avenue for players to interact with each other. There is a global chat where players within the same server can converse. Players can also create their own groups and squads to play together. But, player interaction became an opportunity for players to badmouth others. Some players would curse and belittle other players within the game which is harmful, especially to the young ones.

MLBB, being free and easy, is enjoyable and a fun gaming experience for those who have learned to play it. As an entertaining game, MLBB became really addicting for some players, especially young ones. It hinders their studies and real social interactions which in turn, affects their development.

Mobile Legends is also known for its tournaments, national and international. It helps skilled players make a living out of the game. Most players have also became influencers. Famous teams who join tournaments have their own fandoms. The game has a growing community of players. It inevitably provides a place for toxicity since fandoms of famous teams would fight and argue with each other. Some famous players would also have silent scuffles which fuels the hate. The community is not known for being friendly.

Players can live stream their games so other players watch their game play. Skilled players can help beginners learn how to navigate the game and use their heroes. Streamers earn profit and even gain their own fans. Streamers often have conflicts with other streamers, posing a bad influence to their community.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is a product of technology which aims to provide entertainment. It is a fun game but still has negative repercussions. Hopefully, the gaming experience would be more on the brighter side than the dark side.

All I heard about ML was about its toxicity. I rarely play Mobile games but was into PUBG and zombie strategy games. Maybe I should check this game out when I can.

I was a addict player of mobile legends before but then I lose interest on playing 🤣, but its a good thing baka mas lalo pa akong addicted sa ml if I didnt stop playing before HAHA

Naglalaro ako ng ML for almost 4 years na siguro. Di naman pa ako nagsasawa sa paglalaro hanggang ngayon.hehe
