I am working late cu'z Iam a crocheter .( Singing)
Hello Crafthy hivers it's good to write new blogs today . Before we start let me ask you first ,Hows life ? are all your plans align the way you imagine it? will hope it does ,but for those who are not that's ok everything happens for a reason .
For today's blog I will be sharing you my special bucket hat and the story behind it,but first I will tell you the whole process how I actually made it before I will tell the story behind it , why I craft this stuff ?.
Through using different colors of yarn,bucket hot is born,yes that's right . Actually ,I encounter problem regardless of the size and its too late for me to notice it because the size is good for the baby , bucket hot is almost done,
but instead of revising it I choose to finished it ,imagine you thought that you already finished your craft but in the end it's not what your plan is .
My craft never disappoint me ,instead of dumping it ,I sold it to my friend who have a baby which is the bucket hat exactly fit to her baby ,good thing she never refuses my offer ,so my disappointment replace by happiness and I realized maybe this happens because theirs a reason for that just like our life .
Moving on ,let's go to the main point of this blog .I made this bucket hat to the person who is struggling and fighting for his life. We humans don't actually predict what will happen to us to the next day but the most important thing is that we choose to be happy and leave our life as we could.
I made this bucket hat for her a woman with breast Cancer and she bare this illness almost 5 years , imagine how brave she is fighting her life .
Way back in a year 2022 together with my ate's and niece we visited Nanay Linda ( The name of the person I mean who have a cancer is Linda Geonzon ,48 years old from Mingglanilla Cebu.)This time nanay Linda is hopeless because she always think that her cancer is getting worst. My ate and nanay Linda are very close to each other she treat nanay Linda as her mother that is the reason why I met nanay Linda and a touch to her.
The time we visit her nanay Linda's hair are almost disappear like what other people who have Cancers too because of the treatment she takes that is why her hair are falling a very strong medicine that our body can't hold it up ,I remember nanay Linda crying in front of us narrating what would happen to her,if she will survive or not ,then to make her feel hopeful for life we encourage her to fight and never surrender no matter what happened we will be praying for her recovery .
Fast forward,I never seen nanay Linda for the last 2 years because I am also busy with my studies and small business I heard sometimes from my ate about how she endure every procedure, the pain she feel.iam just always praying for her recovery.
Last week I heard nanay Linda undergo a surgery and luckily nanay Linda have a successful operation and we are so happy for her.
As I promise to her ,before valentine's day I will make bucket hat for her as a gift for valentines days but sadly I failed to gave her on that day because that is the day also when she is andergo surgery operations.
Last Tuesday I finally got a chance to gave her the bucket that I promise to her from school I quickly run into her house,seeing nanay Linda that time was a miracle,I can feel the positivity inside her ,her eyes tells that ( I am a breast cancer survivor) .
Finally, I gave it to nanay Linda the bucket hat I made for her a very special bucket hat crochet creation I made for my entire life as a crocheter. I make nanay Linda smile, my heart is very happy and I am blessed that I have this talent now I really believe God made us with a purpose driven life .
The color of the bucket hat has a deep meaning, (shades of pink) ,pink is a color symbol for breast cancer fighter and survivor . I want nanay Linda every time she wears this hat would remind her that she is a fighter,a women who has the courage to continue her life .
Note: we are not related by blood but we are related with the heart.
