Hello, Hive friends! We are about to welcome a new year. I hope and wish you all an abundant and prosperous year. Let me share with you my appreciation to Hive and the people who helped and inspired me to continue my Hive journey.
My hesitation and doubt on Hive before was changed into discovery, learning, and growth. I remember the time @callmesmile and @jobeliever conducted the orientation for us DNHS teachers. I was not really interested in joining, for I lost my interest in writing. But when I tried to create an intro blog and showed it to Ma'am Smile, she told me that I was ready to go hiving. She assisted me and taught me the important elements of posting content in PeakD. I also explored and read rules and pinned guides of the different communities. I even learned the different codes for format and layout.
I keep on posting and, at the same time, learning from my fellow writers. Joining weekend engagements of Galen, Vibes music competition, HPUD, and others helped my account's growth. Sometimes I missed engagements due to my work and tasks in school. But once I have spare time, I always spend it creating new posts, upvoting, reblogging, and leaving fruitful comments on some quality contents.
There was a time when we met @dehai in our Matatag Curriculum Unpacking of Competencies; she appreciated my blogs and kept on encouraging me to just continue posting with or without high votes. I also discussed my learnings and new discoveries with @diamondinthesky since we belong to the same school. There are plenty of authors here, which I will not mention, who inspired me to write more quality contents. They were all good and nice, and of course I will always emphasize their encouragement and inspiration.
I would also like to extend my thanks to @hiveph and @hivephilippines admins and moderators, who are all supportive and willing to mentor everyone in the discord, either in Hive matters or personal matters. I am glad that I could help my fellow Filipino authors by using #vote-me. I wish all the best for this Filipino community. That is why I delegated some of my HP; though small, at least I can contribute to achieving their goals as a community.
My nine months seemed more than a year of hiving. This experience might not be enough for me to encourage newbies and blogging aspirants. But for sure, I can share something with them. My 2024 was not that good and full of frustrations, but Hive diverted my attention and made me look at the positivity of life. I am not alone; I have the people of this platform who lifted me up in my darkest times. You are one of my saviors this year. I hope we can continue it to the upcoming year, 2025.
I hope you will continue to support my contents for me to achieve the growth that I expected.
Once again, thank you guys for all of your contributions. Let us all welcome 2025 with Hive growth and more engagements.
