My Journey Applying to Cebu Normal University

Hello everyone!! Allow me to intoduce myself, I'm @dark.rose. As you've read in my previous blog, it was about the DOST Scholarship. So, in this blog, I want to share my experience taking the Cebu Normal University's application.

Before that day, we prepared the requirements of the CNU's application form to take the entrance exam. And so, on November 15, we're all ready to go without worrying about the requirements. We gather ourselves and bid farewell to our remaining classmates who are left behind at classroom. They also wish us good luck; we said thank you. Having classmates who are not competitive is amazing; they help you achieve what you want, and you also do the same. More like supporting each others back.

We follow our president, who is a representative of our class. While we're about to ride the bus, the driver says that the bus will not pass by the path to CNU's street. So we decided to ride another bus. While riding the bus, we relaxed our minds, and the others were taking their time to study and sleep. It takes us more than an hour to arrived at CNU. When we arrived, we get in line to enter the university.

Cebu Normal University

As we entered the Cebu Normal University, we were excited, and the surroundings were to behold. We walked towards the department of our courses to apply and get the application form.

After filling up the application form, we passed it to a woman (maybe a teacher?) who was collecting the application form. When she's done collecting the application form, she informs us that we will not leave yet because they will be asking personal question, regarding the application form. She also said that they will be taking their lunch break and will be back at 1:00 PM.

Since it was 11 AM, we decided to take our lunch instead of just waiting.

While we're waiting for our other classmate, my friend @kath-etcuban and I spotted a mirror on the wall. We take a few picture of ourselves and after taking a picture, we sat down on the chair.

Upon their arrival, we told them that we would be having lunch while the teachers are also taking their lunch. After deciding where we should eat, we make our way to Jollibee, a popular fast-food chain located in E-mall.

After taking our time to eat, we stayed a bit and took our leave. We go back to CNU, and at that time, it was our luck; we didn't need to wait a few minutes because they had already started.

We were waiting for our names to be called because as they said earlier that they had further questions about personal information. After we were all called, they also gave us the application slip. They said that we needed to give this to a specific teacher or staff member and let them have their signature. As we were about to walk down the staircase, one of our friends was wandering the place and got excited by the use of the elevator, so we tried the elevator.

They were arguing about who among them would give it a try; no one was presenting, so we decided to try it on together.

When we're on the ground floor, we also need to walk before we reach our destination. Our president was quite well aware of the place, so we don't need to ask anyone; we're all relying on her.

After we reached the place, we saw many students sitting outside the room, and so we did the same.

It was not so long that we're called, and after we got inside, we also needed to wait as they were calling us one by one, and in front of them, you had to write your personal information, such as your complete name, address, age, and email address. Depending on your course, the date and venue of our examination are different. We thanked the teacher as we're done, and we took our leave. Upon leaving the school area, we discussed and asked each other about each other's dates of examination.

After buying tickets, we walked towards the door outside to make our way to the bus.

We were at the last part of the bus because it was empty. But that was alright, we didn't care much about our seats because we were so tired at that time that we just wanted to sleep until we got home. I even captured my friends who were sleeping.

These two seem so tired, one sleeping and the other just staring blankly outside the window. They didn't even know that I captured this photo at that time; they didn't notice at all. Well, I'm dropping it here, so hehe, sorry for your stolen shoots. We were quiet until we reached Naga and bid each other farewell.
