What's up Hive! It's me @diamondinthesky I am sorry for posting late due to health and work reasons. I hope you forgive me Hive. I am very busy lately, recording and computing the grades of my students and doing school forms. I only slept few hours just to finish the task before the School and District Reading of School Forms. That few hours of sleep for days really caused me severe headache.
The Stage Decoration of the Graduation and Completion Ball 2024
Last night is the Graduation and Completion Ball of our school, May 24, 2024.
The Students in their Dazzling and Blazing Attire
The theme of the ball this year is black and gold Masquerade. It was held at barangay Daantabogon Covered Court. The same venue as last school year's Graduation and Completion Ball with black and white theme. It was held there because the covered court of our school is not finish yet. In case it will rain, the event will not be affected.
The Venue of the Masquerade Ball 2024
I was very excited traveling on the venue with my three nieces that I invited to go with me on the event.
The Mask that I bought for the Event
I also bought a mask for us to use on the event. I bought gold, sky blue, red, and purple with different design. However, I didn't use the mask. I just give it to my nieces.
We are riding a tricycle going to the venue because that is the only transportation that we have that time. The event will start at 5 o'clock in the afternoon and we went there before the time. My nieces and I decided not to rent a gown because we do not have enough budget for it. We just wear formal attire for the event and help each other in fixing our hair.
The Elegant Table Set-up of the Event
When we arrived on the venue, we were overwhelmed of the decorations as well as the dazzling beauty and the elegant outfits of the grade 10 and 12 learners.
I observed how prepared and excited all of them for this important event in their high school life. I hope they will cherish the moments and considered it as one of the unforgettable memories in their high school journey.
When I was in high school, I did not experience such event, Graduation Ball. However, I only experienced the Junior Senior Prom when I was in third year and fourth year high school as part of the night event of our high school day which is always held every 14 of February or on the second Friday of the love month.
The Beautiful and Handsome Grade 10 and 12 Students in their Entrance
The Graduation and Completion Ball 2024 started by the entrance of the Grade 10 and 12 learners with their Masquerade attire followed by the faculty and staff of our school. Then, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, the Sugbo Hymn, the Tabogon Hymn, the School Hymn, and the opening prayer.
The Food Set-up of the Event
The Food that I Ate Last Night
After praying and blessed the food on that evening, we first have the dinner. The foods served by the Catering Service are all delicious. There is Pork Lechon (Roasted Pig), Calamares (Fried Breaded Squid), Pork Humba (Braised Pork), Pancit (Noodles with Pork and Vegetables), Fried Chicken, and more.

I was also amazed of the cupcakes that they place in our table. I really thought that it is only for decoration, and then I found out that it is a real food.
I loved watching our students with their Masquerade attire and they look happy and seems that they are enjoying the night.
I do not even recognize some of the female students because they really look beautiful in their makeup and gown on that night.
The program ended past 9 o'clock in the evening. It also happened that it is raining. So, my nieces and I was not able to go home right away because we are also waiting for the tricycle to get us, and while waiting for our transportation, I help and guide the learners in cleaning and keeping things because we are the aftercare of the program.
Since I am in-charge for the aftercare together with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG Officers), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD Officers), and the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O Officers), we make sure that the venue is clean and the school materials that was used in the program are keep safely.
After cleaning and keeping everything, I went home together with my nieces on the tricycle that I contacted to bring us home.

Wow! What a fun night you had during your masquerade ball. Good thing covid is already over we are all back to doing events that involves a large crod like these types of events. Happy to see everyone in their best gowns and suits. It is a perfect way to socialize with classmates and schoolmates. High school life is indeed the best!!! Such a good experience maam,to attend a ball, 'cause not all were not able to attend grad ball. Personally, I don't experienced grad ball in high school because of pandemic. Congratulations maam, the design was very good, Kudos to the faculty and staff and to all the organizers of the event.❤️✨

Seeing this made me remember pur graduation ball during High school naman. It is simple and happened in our school room. Naalala ko pa puting puti face ko coz si mother lang nag make up sakin, huhu. Nakakatuwang balikan ang nakaraan. Surely those students who attended is super happy for the magical experience of this ball (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
