Time for another blog, cutie! Well, hello and good day, everyone, especially to my beautiful and handsome Hivers. I felt bored today since I haven't wrote a blog during my midterm exam, so it's time for me today to post another blog which was the travel time. I wonder if you will be surprised for my travel, but I haven't share this one to all of you. So let's start my blog as it contained all about my hometown that I miss, which is My Hometown in Cadiz City, where I lived before in a farm together with my grandparents. One more thing about this, it was Good Friday when we're having a visit to our grandparents!

Now, before we going this city, allow me to share some tips on how should we get there. First, we're going to ride a jeepney from our subdivision, which is the Montessori (if you live in this residence). Ride a jeepney that names Alijis - Central Market going to downtown (see in the picture). After you reach the download, ride another jeepney that would lead you straight to the terminal of Bacolod. So I'm short, you will have the two rides first before reaching the terminal.

We're finally arrive at terminal. At this juncture, for our arrival, luckily we've got a slot of a bus that travel to Escalante, so we hurriedly went to inside and sat down. Well, I was surprised because right after we've already settle down, the bus was gradually leaves the city, which was also a good relieve to me so that we've could spend at least many hours with my grandparents. Speaking of grandparents, I wonder how they're doing until now. I really miss them a lot, especially that I haven't visiting them for almost months. The bus was still traveling and of course I always felt bored, so I have to sleep in order to get my boredom while listening to music, so kindly standby for now...

After 1 hour of traveling, here we are now! Welcome to my hometown in Cadiz City. Anyways, this place (on the left picture) is called "Bangga Kawayan". I was stunned because before, it was called "Campestohan". This is where I always passed when leaving our home going to school or to have a groceries at Cadiz together with my grandma.

Another thing that you've noticed is the pictures of the two roads (on the right side) I've captured. On the first picture of the road, you will passed that way to reach the Cadiz City, while on the other side of the road, you will passed that way going to Sagay City. Both of these roads have amazing and fascinating beautiful sceneries to watch, that's why before, I always escaped to our house just to go here in this place and staying while watching the sunset.

Here comes the way down to our little peace village! Well, as you passed by, you will saw a plain field (on the left picture), which was planted by the sugar canes but now, I didn't see any sugar canes. Maybe it was already cut by the farmers. Next, as you go down there, you see slide-like road that was passed down to our little village. You will see the palm tress and banana trees and then the plaza on the distance. On the way, we also passed our old neighborhoods, looking at us while walking. I wonder what they're thinking about us but I don't care anyways.

Yey, here is our home! A home where I started to create my own good memories fo childhood until what I am in my teenage life. We surprised our grandparents which makes them happy because it was good that we've meet them again. I hugged them all because I really miss the a lot. After we put our things, we sat down for a while to rest, then we went to help our grandparents cooking some foods for lunch. Anyways, another plain field that we saw is also contains a plant of sugar canes, but just like the other pictures a while ago, it was also cut by the farmers. But seeing these field, I also noticed some sprouts that grows at the planted sugar canes. I suddenly missed eating sugar canes. It makes my tummy full and satisfied if we haven't enough food here sometimes.

My grandfather suddenly told us that their dog was have a cutie little puppies. Me and younger sister got so excited, so we went to look for the puppies. When we saw it, I didn't expect to look them so cute. My younger sister holds them, while I've got them a picture to have some memories. Then, when she leaves, I was surrounded by these cutiee puppies. They are 5 little puppies. Three of them have a brown and white color, while the other two got the black color. To make it more memorable while seeing them, I hold one of the puppies and have a picture with me. Isn't it so adorable? 😍

Now, for this part of my blog, let me show you these foods on the table. Before that, I did something would make my tummy more full. Luckily, my grandma boiled some "puso-saging" or should I called the "heart of banana". As you see, it was boiled from the hot water first until it would be soft. Putting out in a pot ang placed it in a big oval plate (in the picture), I mashed it into pieces, then I mix it with some preservatives and 1/2 flour, since it looks few. After mixing them all, I cook it now in a pan using some oil, waiting to be cook as a golden brown.

It's time to serve our food! As to considered our old habit, these foods are one of the examples that we eat every day. Of course for 11 years I've accustomed to live in the farm so I really appreciate to eat these kind of foods everyday. In other words, I will consider these as a part of my survival challenge since we lived in a poor life and situation than I've experienced right now in my current life and situation.

When I woke up form my sleep, it's already afternoon. After one hour of sleep because my eyes felt tired due to traveling, I went outside to capture it. Looking good is it? This kind of view would be seen beside of our house. Beautiful trees that have all green leaves scattered everywhere as you look. I've always notice a few of brown leaves which are all old now. Anyways, the road that you saw is the way to the river which was behind of all that trees. But before that, allow me to show you this kind of memories in plants.

The picture that you saw are the plants that I planted before together with my Mom. If I'm not wrong, we did this in 4 years ago (I guess it's too long for me). I remembered that day my Mom was injured while cutting some leaves that you be use to plants so vegetables and fruits and it was rainy day while we do removing some unnecessary plants in that place. One more thing, the plants that we've planted there are Banana trees, Gabi (in our term), Tangkong (also in our term), Cassava and Camote. I just noticed its few changes but at least it is still alive and fine after seeing this.

This is the river I've mentioned in the picture a while ago. I don't know how do you look at this place, but for me it is just simple. Anyways, this river is the place that can be use for washing clothes (on the right side) and taking a bath (on the left side). Experienced of living in farm before, I used to wash and taking a bath here early in the morning and in afternoon. This place is my chicago where I learned on how to swim and balance myself especially in deep waters. Not only people using this place, but also the Carabaos who we're placed here to take a a shower. Those carabaos are placed behind of that bridge. I really missed on bathing in this river as it gives me some peace and quiet place and also the memories I have here.

Actually, there are many places that I will show to all of here like small hills where we always our grandparents to work and a mini hut that we've been staying but we're out time because we're fixing ourselves to go home. After finished fixing, we bid goodbye to our grandparents. (I will miss them both again). Then, going out and wet back to this place again, a timing that the sunset (on the right picture) was going down in a minute, so I hurriedly took a picture of it. Luckily, the bus passed by so we hurriedly went there in order to go back safe and sound in Bacolod. It took more 3 hours this time to travel before we reach the terminal. It's nice again to go back in this province after visiting and seeing my grandparents there in my hometown! I will also never forget how I started to experienced some hardships and obstacles to have current stable life I have right now. ☺️

Anyways, if you will passed this blog, it would be a good warm heart and appreciation to all of you. I hope you will have a good day ahead!

See yah on my blog, Hivers. Take care! ❤️

It's good to be back from your hometown. There are places that we missed and also the people that lived there most especially our parents. When I was studying, I also missed my hometown because of the place and also the ambiance are way too good then when I was studying. Anyway, I'm back here in my hometown after I graduated.
