Good day, lovely hivers. I’m back once again for my another post. Phewss, actually, I’m out of topic a few day ago but thanks to the @hiveph on implementing this kind of contest. Well actually, I’m not only posting this kind of my blog just becuase I really want to join, but also I also want to share some memories that I have in every rountine of my rainy days. I have many memories based of all the questions given. Okay, so let’s start!!
Well, its raining once again in the Philippines! Kidding, okay so here we are now. So kindly allow me to share some of my routines during raining days. Thee kinds of memories that I have happens in my grandparents tha time (when I’m not here at the city to study my college), so apology if didn’t have any pictures. But kindly allow me to give you a sample picture about it so that seeing these pictures makes me remember my unforgettable memories that I have.
One of the most memorable chilhood memories I have in rainy days is showering and eating some of my favorite foods after showering. Everytime I was sitting in our balcony (grandparents house) and it was suddenly rained. I hurriedly change my clothes into the clothes-for-bath-one and then went to the rain to take a shower. I, my younger sister, and my nearby friends at our place always do that while playing some different kinds of "Pinoy" games like "Sekyu" and "Habul-habulan". Sometimes we also went tothe river to challenge swimming. But we weren't stay there too long since it was raining hard that could lead us into danger. After we finished showering and went to our respective homes, one thing that I did is cleansing myself and ccok one of my favorite foods, which are banana chips/banana cues/nilagang saging together with my favorite hot coffee, which is really one of the perfect snack in rainy days. I remeber that moments that I chocked in that food when I felt superhungry at that time.
Of course, there is no unforgettable memories in the rain if I've never experience this. Since I have phone that time, while eating my favorite snacks, I prefer to listening my favorite songs to make myself and my surrounding alives instead of feeling boredness. Well, you noticed that my songs are different from others since my playlist are more on English and Chinese. I not really fond of listening Tagalog songs, unless it was needed and suits in my ear to listen. Sometimes, I also try to sing it while listening in additional of making myself calm and ease my mind. Even though you may shocked why most of my playlists are Chinese songs, because even though I may not understand their songs, but I can understand feeling its rhythm, beat and its ballad type. I can also identify it whether their songs are heartbroken, sad, or happy when reading its lyrics in English type.
So I guess that's all for today's blog. I know that these are the memories that I have in rainy days, but I can conclude it that these are my unforgettable memories and also my happiness.
Showering in the rain is the most unforgettable part of being a child.
Yeah, indeed. But too bad I don’t know if can do that again in my current time. 😌
I'm jealous you had a river to go to and swim during your childhood days but yes you are right it could be dangerous as well. hopefully you had adults looking over you back then.
Anyways, thank you for sharing a glimpse of your life. I am quite intrigued with you listening to Chinese songs. Perhaps you can share one here and I'll listen to it later.
Yeah, actually there is it so that why we didn’t try to swim in the river when rain time. Also, the river is just really near our grandparent’s house so it would be easy me to go to river everytime if I want to swim.

Omg, those memories of bathing in the rain, it's always fun to remember that. I also remember those time na naglalaro kami sa ulan while playing a gulong ng bike sabay may stick na hawak sa kabilang kamay tapos papagulungin using that, kay sarap balikan talaga uwu.
Indeed. Lalong-lalo na kapag mahilig ka talaga maligo sa ulan. I also remember those moments na gumagawa kami ng bangka na gawa sa katawan ng saging tapos iyon ang gagamitin namin pangbangka sa ilog.
Wahhh, that too,pero diko na experience yan. Hanggang bangkang papel lang ksmi hahaha
Whaaaa sobrang saya iyon promise.
Hindi ko alam ang larong sekyu,or baka nalaro ko na yan noon iba lang tawag sa amin hihihi.
Ang sarap ng mga kinakain mo noon pag umuulan, lahat fave ko din hihihi.
Nalaman ko lang din iyan that time sa bata doon sa main but I swear, sobrang nakaka-enjoy laruin iyon and iyon na din ang pinakaborito kong laro in my childhood days. Minsan may times inaya ako nga kasama ko na sumali pero hindi ako sumasali unless Sekyu na iyong lalaruin nila. 😂
And yeah, sobrang sarap talag iyon kainin lalo na kapag tag-ulan. Anyways, thank you for passing by po. Sobrang appreciate ko iyong comment. 🥰
Talaga sis, na curious na tuloy ako kung paano yan laruin hihihi.
Hmm try analyze. Sa larong iyan, dapat may two groups kayo and two base, depende sa gusto niyo especially sa mga kagrupo niyo at kng anong base ang gagamitin niyo, pero usually bato iyong ginagamit namin para mabigat. Now since sekyu yong larong, may isa sa kanilang grupo sa sarili niyang base. Ang gagawin ng taong iyan is pupunta siya sa kabilang base kng saan binabantayan din ito ng ibang grupo (kalaban) at dapat maaapak niya iyon. But make sure hindi siya mahuhuli nga mga kalaban niya dahil pag nangyari iyon while may pinaplano siyang apakan iyong base ng kalaban, kukunin at ikukulong siya agad nito. But hindi lng isang tao ang aalis upang apakan ang base kalaban, dapat marami silang pero dapat may maiiwan sa base upang hindi ito maapakan ng kalaban sakaling susugod mn ito. Sa mga nakukulong sa kanilang base, dapat hindi ng apak ang gagawin ng kanilang mga kasama sa bawat base ng kalaban. Dapat iligtas din nila ang kanilang mga kasama na nakulong. Pero sa larong iyan, may technique iyan na ginagamit upang hindi kayo makita ng bawat kalaban while pupunta sa kanilang base. May nagtatago while naglulusob sila, or depende sa technique na gagawin mo as long as hindi kayo mahuhuli. Kapag nagawa iyong apakan iyong base ng kalaban na hindi nahuhuli, automatic panalo na agad kayo.
Ayun, tigsu tawag sa amin sa Mindanao nyan sis. Grabe na appreciate ko talaga ang effort mo na mag explain, mag detalye sa larong sekyu. Maraming salamat talaga sis. Habang nagbabasa ako nitu, childhood memories came back hihihi.
Hahaha syempre pinakapaborito kong iyon laro na iyan kaya maaalala ko talaga iyon. 🥰
