Well, I work with Lagos state government in Nigeria, there has never been a 13th month salary to all workers expecially the public servant. The government don't value it's citizen as much like that.
What will I do if I have 13month pay? I'm saving it all because it is a bonus on my path. Christmas is a season that if care is not taken, you will end up spending all your salary at a go and in January, expenses like school fees and others might show up.
Save for the unexpected!
Hope you will experience that 13th month salary, it is not just a bunos because it is mandated with a law. Hope your leader would look on it and hopefully you will have that soon. Some companies would add another bunos on top of the 13th month if the boss is generous.
