Make One Good Vote Counts!

Good day hivers! :) What are you doing lately? Are you having a certain activitu that excites you or get you feeling nervous?

I would like to share my first time on hand experience about this training. By the way, we are having our three-day training seminar for the upcoming elections for the Electoral Board Members. I am in my most attentive posture in this training since I am not familiar with it.

The most important of this training aside from the General Instructions on what to do before, during and after the election is learning on how to operate the Automated Counting Machine (ACM). I am trying my best in learning the process by listening to the speaker, reading the materials presented and most especially by practicing with partner and do ut alone on how to operate the machine. In short, learning by doing.

I felt so nervous and at the same time I am excited because we will have our Practical Exam on how to operate the machine given only for 30 minutes. I am nervous because of the self-imposed thinking of what if I can not do it really? I am excited with the outcome of the said exam.

Fortunately, we made it! We had practiced it after dinner yesterday in preparation for the test. As long as, we would follow what is the instructions surely you can go through it successfully.

I am excited also about the election since this is the the time to change the situation of our country by choosing the right and qualified candidate for the position. Those politicians who are not after of the money but those who have really hearts for service and uplifting the country's economic status of the people.

Through this training, I realized that serving during the election is a noble act since you have the opportunity to secure the votes of the people with honesty and integrity. Sometimes, we are attracted of the benefits of serving because of the service credits to be earned after. It was given generously to us teachers.

Earning ten service credits for teachers who will serve this election is a great compensation for us most especially when you are ill and you are really advised to rest by a doctor. The Comelec truly sees this value. When teachers are not willing to serve then the PNP are mandated to serve the election.

In this training, we are equipping ourselves to gain an insightful and useful knowledge and skills to be used during the Eday. It was impactful for me, since I am a first timer on serving the National Election.

The machine was easy to operate. It was user-friendly. On Eday, I just hope and pray that people's power will be regained during this time by voting wisely. May the Filipino people would not be tempted in selling their votes in a small amount of thousands compared of the quality of living they will get if and only if the person who will be elected would not get a single peso of the nation's treasury. May the people elect those who are God-fearing not just only in TV but also in private life. The more ads on TV will surely likely get back what he lost during the campaign period.

I am hoping and looking forward for the better Philippines. Let's lift our head and always look above so that we will not stumble that hard. Thank you for reading this blog.

With Love,
