Last February 14, 2024, my boyfriend surprised me for Valentine's Day. It was unexpected because all I knew was that we were just simply celebrating a monthsary in Jollibee. But I was wrong because my love of my life had some plan for me. Since day 1, he never failed to make me happy. During Valentine's Day I had a class; I needed to attend my one subject, so I told him that we would celebrate after school. He agreed to that, and he told me that he will be waiting at their home.
As I arrived at their home, he gave me a flowers ,balloons and love letter . It was just a simple flower, but it really means a lot to me. I felt like I'm on cloud 9 at this moment .I am shocked also there's so much happiness in my soul . Being loved by him is truly a blessing.
My boyfriend is a college student; also, he's taking a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. We are both students, and we don't have enough money to buy some expensive stuff. But for him, as long as he can make me happy, he will do everything for me because he already knew that even simple things I really appreciate. For me, it's not about the things that we received; it's about the effort of that person who gave us.
He told me that we will go to the Jollibee first, and then we will go to the plaza, and there we will eat. He told me that we will have a picnic date in Carcar City's Plaza. He planned everything, and even the things that we needed to bring were already with him. He prepared everything by himself. Having a man like him is a blessing. I don't need to tell him where she should go because, as a man, he knows what to do by himself. He is very calm, loving, and a man of integrity.
As we arrived in Plaza, we set up our things. This is how our picnic date looks; it is simple, but for us, it's a perfect date. As long as we had each other's company, then we're perfectly happy. We believe that there's no need to invest so much money for a date; simple things really matter. As long as we are happy with what we are doing, then we will do it. As long as it will not harm us and could not ruin our future, then we will deal with it. Our date is not special like other couples, but for us, it's not about the money or the place; it's about the person whom we are with.
Our spot is just perfectly fine. We enjoy each other's company and celebrating Valentine's with full of love. We talk about our lives and plan for the future. Having a genuine relationship is a blessing for me because things run smoothly in our lives. We know how to balance our love life and school. We really prioritize our school for our future and for our family.
We took some pictures for our memories. This day is truly a memory to keep. Every time we had a date, we really always captured every moment that we were together because for us it's a memory that is worth keeping. During this time my heart is very full having this man by my side; I couldn't ask for more but to have him in my entire life.
Im so blessed beacuse I choose a man who alwyas makes me feel loved. A man who means what he says and shows it through his actions.Someone who genuinely cares for me, not just with words, but with effort.
He gave me the love, time, and loyalty I deserve. I don't need to chase after him or fight for his effort, because my man truly values me .Despite my flaws he loves me unconditionally.
To all girls and boys out there always choose the man/woman who brings peace, respect, and kindness to your life. The kind of love that you deserve.Wait for the right person who will pursue you with passion, respect you with kindness and who is very gentle with you.
