
Hello Hive community! I bet most people here are enrolled in gym for fitness?! But this is my first experience here in Hong Kong to try it out.
Recently a friend asked me if I would like to join her when going to her beloved fitness studio, and as I had the option to try it out for free I agreed: last Thursday morning I spent 3 hours together with her in that fitness centre!
They offer one free training so that after that test everybody can decide themselves if it is worth to spend the monthly fee.
As a beginner I tried out as many of the different gym equipments as possible.
To be honest I visited a fitness centre already in the Philippines before, but there the exercises felt much easier than during my test here in Hong Kong. Maybe I am already getting old, and thats why...? Hehe...
I admit that after that training I had quite some muscle pain...!
And now I am thinking about if I should go to the gym regularly or not? Is it really necessary to join a fitness studio? I was tempted to enroll, but now I am thinking about it is worth to pay the monthly fee of $ 550 HKD? I always do jogging, some push-ups, sit-ups and planks. Also I like to practice yoga. Sometimes I add some cardio and follow YouTube to learn how to execute the different exercises in the correct way ...
I just wonder why people love to carry heavy stuff in the gym to build their bodies... hehe... but anyway, thats just my opinion and also concern (is that really so good for the body?).

Hi @nicolebanilad, cheers to you!... We better spend money for food and have fun. And do some outdoor exercises... I think that's more practical. Thanks for your nice comment here...
Practically true. There are many ways when we don't to spend😇, kuripot ako with the right reason😍

it's been awhile since I did. but I might just get a home gym instead, but its so expensive now..

Many exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, planking and of course jogging or swimming can be done completely without expensive equipment ...
Great pics! And yes, if you just do jogging and the all the exercises you mentioned that should be more than enough!
