Like any other, I am named after my father in short I am his Jr. My father is Hilario, and Hilario Jr. that's me. I was born and raised in the humble town of Dalaguete. We are all 8 in the family including my parents. As much as we want to live together as a family it is not possible. My parents' income at that time was not enough to feed us. With that, my elder siblings have to be away from home to work while studying in the city for their future. I used to be left at home and take good care of my younger siblings. My family situation opened my eyes to the reality of life -that's hard. That is the reason why I am working hard to get the life I and my family deserve.

Living life in the province taught me how to live a simple life. I learned to be independent in finding ways to survive and help my family. Since I was always at home at that time, I learned different household chores which are commonly the work of a girl in the household. I do the cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, and taking care of my younger siblings. Life trials and hardships shaped the person I am today.

When the opportunity calls upon me to go here in the city, I grab the opportunity. It is also to help my family lessen their burden. I was a working student back then living with my Aunt. At first, it is easy but it is so hard, to balance student life while working after that. Since I have dreamed, I needed to stay strong every day. In terms of my academics, I am also an achiever. As much as possible, I do well at school for my parents to be proud of me.

Many have said I am a shy type of person but I am happy-go-lucky and a call-away friend. I somehow agree when they said, " You just have to find true people, true friends to find yourself". I am a different person when I am with my family and friends. Out of the family, I am the one they will be referred to as " walay libog" or "no problem" kind of person since I always smile, and have that jolly personality. Another thing, I am not a materialistic type of person which for me is an advantage since I was able to save up so that I can support myself without bothering my parents.
MY PASSION AND INTEREST
PLAYING ONLINE GAMES
Playing online games like Mobile Legend (ML) and excites my emotions. It makes me somewhat go crazy, but I enjoy playing it , although it is very chaotic. It improves my analytical skills as I need to come up with the strategy to defeat the enemy. My childhood friend was the one who ncouraged me to play this game, he said "If you have problems or stress at school let's play online games it helps at least 30 percent to feel comfortable and happy. They taught me many things such as good values in games. I once experienced the feeling of being at my worst misery. Playing games helps me in my healing process.

SPORTS
I love to play basketball. It is one I considered my physical activity to stay active. Even if it's tiring to play, I feel relief to play as I will also be releasing bad energy through basketball.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Hiking and climbing mountains interest me. Being at the top of the high mountains enables me to see a wide perspective of things. It is also so relaxing and it gives me peace. If I wanted to be alone and unwind, I would just go hiking.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I love to take pictures to keep memories. One of my common subjects in photography is sunsets and anything about nature. I love nature so much. It is so calming in the eyes.
PURPOSE OF JOINING HIVE
To be honest, I am not good at writing but I am so determined to learn specially the basics of writing. I am challenging myself to join an unknown world to learn new things, acquire new skills, and improve myself. I also want to utilize my time instead of just wasting it doing nothing. For me, it is also a good way to express my thoughts and feelings when no one else is there to listen. I also like to engage with people coming from different parts of the world.
CONTRIBUTION TO HIVE
I do not have much to offer but my time and effort. As I will be starting my journey here, I am committed to sharing my personal experiences, and memorable moments, and learning that other people may be interested in.
WHO INTRODUCE HIVE TO ME?
My sister @digdeeper2 has shared with me details about the platform and I was curious about it. When she told me that her friend @jeanmazing would be having a virtual orientation on April 8, 2024, I immediately joined. I was pretty amazed by the discussion and was able to create an intro blog right away. Now I know why my sister is putting time and effort into her blogs. I am also grateful to Miss @jeanmazing for her informative discussion. She explains everything a newbie should know about the platform. This had me more excited about what was waiting for me in the hive.
