What’s up my dear Hiver’s! I hope everything goes well with you’ll. May we all have a wonderful day ahead as we manifest all the good and best things in life.
My first month of this year 2025 has been a very busy month due to a lot of events and appointments. And of course, it is a good sign of life that we are still alive and kicking, right? Now, I’ve been thinking of writing a blog for my close friend’s bridal shower because it is worth sharing a beautiful milestone.
A short overview of how our friendship started: I met Lovern Faith when I was in elementary school because she was my schoolmate, but our friendship started during high school as we got along most of the time. Well, of course, we were classmates from first year until we finished High School.
We are five in our group, and I wasn’t really expecting before that this friendship would last long; doing the math, we are now 16 years into this friendship. Even though we barely see each other after high school, we still manage to maintain our relationship. Well, each of us has different religions and personalities, and I think that makes us unique in many ways. Lovern is the 3rd member of the group who will get married. The first one was Joy Harmony she got married in the year 2019, and I am the 2nd one who got married in the year 2022. All of us were just so genuinely happy celebrating each other’s success and milestones. We even have each other’s backs in times of challenges.
Since her wedding is fast approaching, we immediately plan for her bridal shower, and we decided to have a dinner at Chili’s Restaurant - SM Seaside Cebu. We wanted to surprise her, so we asked some help from her husband-to-be about her schedule and to set things up. It wasn’t easy after all since most of us are busy and trying to occupy the scheduled date. And thankfully, we were able to meet at the restaurant on the said time and date, though I am a little late since I do have a prior appointment that day.
So, while waiting for her, we ordered some food for our dinner before she arrives. And sharing with you here below the menu. This is actually my first time eating in this restaurant (Chili’s), which is recommended by one of our friends. Honestly speaking, I am not used to eating at expensive restaurants, and maybe for some this is way cheaper, but for me it is expensive. But, but, but their foods are delicious, and every serving is already good for its price because every serving is good for 3-4 pax already, so not bad.
Moving forward, Lovern arrived and got surprised when she saw us. It was indeed a happy moment we shared as we spent the whole night having intimate conversations with tears and laughter. A day showered with love and sisterhood friendship. We all actually don’t talk every day; we have other circles, and we can get by without socializing with each other on a daily basis. Our relationship is not demanding, but rather easy and comfortable. We catch up once in a blue moon, but when we do, comfort dominates.
I am glad to have met these people; they are like soul sisters to me, as we are not related by blood, but we share a bond that no one can replace. So, nothing else but happiness dominates this day as we celebrate her bridal shower. #FAITHedToLoveJOSH
