Have you ever wondered what it's like to take an opportunity or push on with something you weren't entirely sure will work out?
Today, I am in so much happiness as I share with you here a part of my journey that happened on January 26, 2025. I know that it is a few days late already, but I’m not going to skip this without sharing it here.
My younger version of me might not have thought that I would make it here till today. It was a roller-coaster ride for real since the very beginning because, for no special reason, that’s the reality of life. Well, I had already mentioned here before during my introduction blog that I had already finished my bachelor’s degree in 2016, and for some reason I had decided to study again for another program, and that is the Diploma in Professional Education mid-year 2023.
I was a little bit confused that time because I wasn’t really sure what I was doing since the program is far beyond my previous study. Perhaps it is what it is. Before I enrolled in that program, I kept on thinking about numerous times, like questioning myself if I was really ready to leap into this field of teaching. Guess what? I realized it’s not all about passion, but instead loving a certain thing from zero interest is really something great because you can do what it takes as long as you learn how to love what you are doing. In the long run, you will get to enjoy it.
Keeping myself busy at times doing school tasks since it is an online class set-up while doing my board examination review at the same time, well, whenever my mind and soul feel like doing it. It was fun, though, while I’m challenging myself to make it till the end.
Moving forward,
My graduation day was a little bit late since the school wasn’t able to conduct a commencement exercises program last year, 2024, due to some reason. I’ve waited like 7 months for this graduation activity since I finished my study last year in the month of May. And tada! This special day of January this year is the moment that I have been waiting for!
It was an extra special day ❤ because it is my father’s 71st Birthday and my graduation day at the same time. That is why… I am so much happy because the universe is listening to my heart’s desire that I wanted to be at home early so I can have plenty of time to celebrate with my family. So, like a few days before the graduation, the school announced that our program will start early at 8am until 11am, so yeah! Wishes granted. It was a day full of happiness and joy.
I am so much grateful to my husband, who supports me all the way from the beginning, and it saddens me that he cannot join me up on the stage receiving my diploma because he is still out working overseas. But despite the distance, he never fails to support me and cheer me on in times of doubtfulness. I am still glad to have Janine with me that day since my mother-in-law wasn’t able to attend.
We were all 405 graduates that day, and it seems like a new realization to me; even after finishing college, many of us here didn’t stop learning and keeping ourselves educated, and that is a huge thing that I can make myself proud of. What else can we say, right? Education is an unending learning process; the same goes for learning; it is an unending process.
So yeah! That would be all for today; I am looking forward to more success stories soon in my blog.
I hope you had a great day! This is @honeylhen1995, and I’ll see you again on my next blog.
