Hello my beloved Hivers! Good day! How is your day? I hope you are doing well. Today, I want to share about our first day of work immersion in BOGO city. Before we start, I just want to say Thank you to the teacher of Ilihan Integrated School for this opportunity.
First, we had an interview at Ilihan Integrated School, located in Ilihan Tabogon, Cebu. My interviewer's name is Sir Lee Arisgado. I knew him before because he is my subject teacher, and our subject is media and information literacy. By the way, I'm so nervous this time because I'm too shy to speak English, and it's hard for me. Actually, this is not my first time to interview. When I was in grade 11 last year, we had an interview. To be honest, I really want to learn how to speak English in front of people. And hope that someday I will learn and improve my speaking skills here in Hive. Honestly, now when I want to share about my blogging here, I can only use it grammatically, and sometimes I can translate it.
By the way, our teacher sold this uniform shirt for our upcoming job immersion, and I bought one for myself.
After one day, my teacher dropped a message in our group chat, and I saw my name. I was the first batch for job immersion, and I'm really excited and nervous because this is my first time. I don't have any experience in a job in the company. At 10 o'clock in the morning, I'm here at school because our job immersion started at 12 o'clock in the afternoon in Bogo City. Someone has assigned a teacher to guide students and take them to the company.
This time we planned what we should do first. The teacher who took me to Ronmar Marketing Center is ready. We arrived here at 8:30 in the morning; we left Ilihan Integrated School and were waiting for the bus.
After a few minutes of waiting, the bus is already here. My fare is thirty pesos, and actually, we have a discount because we are students. The regular fare for this bus is thirty-seven pesos from Ilihan Integrated School to Bogo City.
And now the time is already 9:00 here in the Bogo City bus stop. We waited for a tricycle to take me to the Rormar Marketing Center located in Parke, Bogo City. The sad thing is I don't have a picture on a motorcycle.
After we rode the motorcycle, we're here at Norman Marketing Center at 11 o'clock in the morning, and our manager welcomed me to work in her company. I introduced myself first. By the way, there are two students from San Remigio, Cebu, assigned here in Norman Marketing Center for their immersion.
After a few minutes, we got to know each other, and the two students from San Remigio are now my friends. I'm very happy for this opportunity; it's a big experience for me. I will do my best to share my good skills here in the company and not waste the opportunity I have received, because someday, I will be able to use it.
