Do I really know myself? That's always the question I've been asking in my life. Well maybe, maybe not. So, hello everyone let's get to know itsmefria time.

Hi everyone first of all, my name is Fria, 22 years old, my favorite color is pink cause who wouldn't like pink, right? hehe, a college student taking Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at Bacolod City College.

Why did I choose this course?

Way back in highschool one of my dream courses was to take a computer related field specifically Information Technology course but things happened I didn't go to my dream school. I ended up in Bacolod City College I didn't regret going to this school since I met a lot of friends that I can actually lean on and also I met the love of my life, cringe right? but that's life haha. After spending years taking this course I definitely had fun there may be pressures but with the help of each other things get bearable.

Let's talk about my life.

I am the eldest child of the family. My mother and father broke up since I was a child and my grandmother took good care of me since I was a child. Growing up, I wish I had a mother or a father by my side but they found their own families after the separation. They gave birth to my step siblings, being happy with their own family. To be honest, I'm so jealous of my step siblings since they experience having a complete family. Seeing them sometimes bond and eating together, I wish I could experience it, too but my grandma never left by my side and she took good care of me, prepared me foods when I was going to school, made me feel better when I was sick that sometimes I cried of how good a grandmother she was.

She's been a mother and a father to me since I was a child and made me try to feel that I have a family to rely on. Reality happened, my mother died last 2019 and followed by my grandmother who also died in 2023. My world was shattered because the person who raised me have left me. I don't know what to do that time, crying everynight, asking myself if I can still make it because the person who I inspire with left. Nanay (grandmother), by my side, made things bearable with me since I can talk to her when something had bothered me or even if it's a problem in school. She supported me with the things I love to do but she died before I can make her proud. A year left and I am going to graduate in college which is her last wish, despite the difficulties and hardships, I will fulfill her wish.

At this part, let's talk about my hobbies.

I really love dancing since I was 9 years old until now, it became a hobby. It all started in a Barangay's intermission number. I never thought that day, I will really start dreaming about dancing on stage so I started joining more contest. With dancing, I met friends who also became a family, win or lose we still keep on going. As what Bill Malone said in his quotes, hobbies really is a great distractions from worries because dancing became my stress reliever when I have too much in my mind, pressured and also suffering from anxiety.

Reason for Joining Hive

My reason for joining hive is to meet new people who I can interact with. My classmates said to me that joining hive can help me express my feelings so I think it will also be one of my reasons. I'm not that good in English grammar but I'll try my best to express my thoughts here. Also, I like sharing updates in life that might inspire or motivate other people.

How did I get to know Hive?

One of my classmate @ayane-chan introduced me to this platform. She always mention it to me that it was a good flatform where I can post or express my thoughts with different people who I can interact. When I also see that some of our classmates @breepickledoodle and @blip-blop have joined here too, I also decided to join so that I can explore new world to me.
