Hello, Hivers! Good day!
@itsmemic once again.
A Perfect Time to Admire Christmas Lights
This was after my duty, and it was the perfect time to visit and admire the Christmas lights here, especially at night when they shine brightly. At first, my friend and I were unsure where to go. There were already Christmas lights and decorations at Bogo Plaza, but I felt like it would be crowded there, and the roads were a bit wet and muddy because earlier that night, it was rainy. So, we decided to head to Bogo City Hall instead to check out their Christmas lights.
On the way, I kept asking my friend if there were any food stalls nearby so we could have dinner there, but it turned out there weren’t any. Still, we decided to go because I was curious about their designs. The last time I visited, it wasn’t Christmas season yet, and I had never seen the Bogo City Hall with a Christmas display before.
Exploring the Area
We first drove around to see if there were lights at the back, and yes, there were! There was even a group practicing a dance routine there. It was so amusing because we encountered a frog on our path, and my friend, who is terrified of frogs, kept freaking out. I couldn’t stop laughing and told her, “Frogs don’t bite, you know!”
After riding around, my friend parked her motorcycle, and we headed to the entrance.
Capturing the Christmas Spirit
I took some pictures, especially at the center where the nativity scene was displayed, featuring figures of Mama Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. There was also a small fire pit that looked like glowing embers, adding a warm touch to the scene. The festive atmosphere in the background made it even more magical.
The center truly captured the essence of Christmas with its bright lights and festive decorations, creating a joyful and celebratory vibe.
This walkway, as you can see, is lined with colorful lights and patterns on the walls. While riding around Bogo City Hall earlier, I kept telling my friend that we should get closer to the lights to take pictures. I felt like they looked even more beautiful up close.
A Magical Christmas Scene
The lights, combined with the decorated trees and bushes, created a magical Christmas scene. I was absolutely loving it!
As I admired the designs and decorations, my friend, still wary of frogs, kept pointing out, “Look, there are so many frogs! And there’s even a baby frog!” I responded with, “Wow, there really are a lot of frogs here!"
Honestly, I’m the opposite of my friend when it comes to frogs. I’m not scared of them, so I kept comforting her, saying, "It’s fine, they won’t bite you. Just leave them alone."
Minutes later, her attention shifted back to the Christmas lights, as we moved away from where the frogs were.
Familiar Yet Festive Designs
The design felt familiar to us because it was similar to what we saw last year. The trees were covered in beautiful Christmas lights, with colorful lights shaped like little houses hanging from the branches, and strings of white lights twinkling all around. It looked so festive and bright!
That’s it for my Part 1, guys! I have so many photos, and I feel it’s better to split this into two parts. Stay tuned for Part 2!
