There's something special about seeing a place for the first time, especially from a child's perspective. Their curiosity, awe, and giggles make the most young experiences priceless memories.
We ventured on a spontaneous journey one afternoon because we felt bored at home. The carefree little girl was looking for something to do, as there were no other kids to play with in our place. The only way to see a new place is to travel for over an hour to visit the city. I also wanted to travel because I was exhausted from my daily routine.
Seeing the sea and green mountains from the ferry boat was refreshing. I can see that the little girl likes adventure. I always smile whenever we ride a motorcycle, and she spreads her arms. And every time we rode a ferry, she would look out the window and appreciate every pretty little thing she saw. As I always said to her mother, "This kid will become a traveler someday." What would you expect? Her tita loves traveling as well. But I don't want her to grow up so fast because I am worried things might change.
Here are the views from the boat as we approach the city. The city was my second home when I studied in college and started working. The good old days always flash back whenever I visit a familiar place where good memories were made back then.
We hopped out of the ferry boat and proceeded to the nearest fast food restaurant, McDonald's. It is one of my niece's favorites, although she would call it Jollibee, which is, by the way, just adjacent to it, lol. But I prefer the setting of McDonald's, which is located along the seaside with a spacious dining area, so I always choose it over the other one.
While waiting for our order, my playful little niece kept playing around, which caught the attention of one of McDonald's staff. He gave her a balloon. The kid was happy and thankful because she got a present from someone.

Our order arrived, and she got her favorite fries, which made her even happier with her favorite foods and a present.
Shopping came next, and she seemed not to want to see the balloon go off her eyes. She would carry it wherever we went and didn't want to give it to others.
Afterward, we decided to go to Robinson's place at the bus terminal because we planned to take the bus back home. There was an event in the atrium, and hundreds to thousands of students from different schools gathered around to support their respective representatives.
Since we couldn't watch it well because of the crowd, we decided to go to Tom's World and spend some coins for my niece to have fun. It was her first time seeing the place, and she was awed by the different toys and arcade stations glowing in neon lights that caught her attention. She wanted to try everything as a kid, so we let her choose where to play.
One of her favorites was the candy playstation, where she won some candies after a few attempts. The next was the driving car station, where she enjoyed navigating the wheel as she drove through the virtual roads. She was awed whenever she saw tickets coming out of the machine after every round. The tiny basketball court was probably her favorite because she could shoot some balls herself. Why can't she? We placed her inside to be able to reach the ring, lol. There were more stations that she wanted to try, so we were able to collect many tickets after that day. Those tickets can be converted into toys once we collect certain amounts.
The day ended happily for my niece and the rest of us who were with her that day. Sometimes, when babysitting my niece, I would ask myself, "What if I had a kid? Would I be a good mother to her?" Instead of thinking about possibilities, I would rather spend my days meaningfully with people dear to my heart. Becoming a mother is easy, but taking on the responsibilities is hard, and not everyone can do that.

Never had a bad encounter with a Mcdonalds crew! It is so nice that they gave a baloon to your niece.
Tom's World is such an amazing playground to kids ( quite costly though ) but the excitement with each ride and the games is something that is worth it. ( Sympre 1st parin is Kidzoona since pwede kang mag rest while the kid is playing elsewhere hahaha).

That's such a nice and quality time with your family madam. And the little baby is a happy kiddo in there being with her generous and lovely Tita. Now that you're here na sa Philippines talagang you can always be with your family na ano and have this kind of bonding moments.
Hndi na masyado lately madam, too focused sa work, but I want to shift coz it's kind of stressing, lol.
The kid is really so adorable and gullible.
Kids are always curious and they try to observe everything carefully.
I think she enjoyed everything quite well and you also spent quality time with them.

It's incredible how they notice even the smallest things and delight in the simplest things. By the look of it, she really appreciated every aspect of the experience, drinking it all in with excitement and awe.
