Everytime I see a shell cafe adjacent to the gasoline station, I always look forward to visiting the cafe as it's known for its well thought of interiors. It also has a better selection than any of the convenience store in our area.
Upon entering the establishment, you will be greeted with croissants and other pastries similar to top tier cafes in our place. However, considering that She'll Cafe is a convenience store, I find their pastries a bit expensive. They did have a 50% discount on some pastries but I still find it expensive. I would prefer to order the swirl ice cream or their signature drinks as it's the one that is unique in their menu.
I believe brands in collaboration with Shell cafe (such as Swirl, Yuro, and Fruitify) are their own. I only see these brands in Shell cafe and very minimal outside the cafe.
Surprisingly, they also have labeled wines and liquors which cause above 20 USD. Im astound that some wines are very expensive. But as expected, Shell cafe is not like any other convenience store, it offers fancy wine and a gelato too.
Upstairs are more seats for costumers to unwind and relax. But the highlight of this cafe is their art pieces in the staircase going to the second floor and into the bathroom. The theme is obviously about native Filipinos and the early time. These must costs thousands, if not hundred thousands since they are from famous artists.
My mom and I bought brewed coffee and a huge bag of Lays chips and went back to the car to continue our road trip. We were heading to the temple since it's a Sunday.
