Thursday- My officemates and I created a running club exclusive within the company employees. As part of our club activity, we decided to join a 12k marathon this weekend! Note that most of us in the club are begginners in running so training is really necessary. For our preparation, we scheduled a training session at least twice a week after work.

To be honest, I'm not really super into running so I'm just chill and having a not so competitive mindset. My goal here is just to stay physically active and besides, it's a company benefit so might as well take it.

Before our run, my friend and I fueled ourselves with some cold beer and a birthday cake from one of our officemates.

Life lately has been so tiring and I feel unmotivated at work so drinking and eating after work really helped to destress ourselves. But of course I'm aware that these are not permanent solutions and unhealthy food intake must be done in moderation. Real solution includes changing my mindset, forming discipline within myself, and learning efficient and effective ways in performing my task. But if the tasks are too much to bare already, I'm considering to let it go and find a new vocation.

Anyways, after indulging, we then headed to our meet up place for running. Our group leader taught us some breathing techniques which surely helped in maintaining momentum and endurance.

After the run, my friend and I were quite hungry but by then, malls and restaurants are already close. So we opted to eat at the nearby eatery.

I'm quite surprised by how expensive eatery foods already are. When I was in college, spending a dollar is enough to fill my empty stomach. Whereas now, it's already double the price. Inflation is real!

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

With love, Jane

Ginawa ko sinulat ko short at long term goal ko sa papel tapos araw araw tinitignan ko para motivated. In no time maachieved mo mga goals mo kaya mo yan!

Thank you for sharing po @dantrin. But paano if iba yung long term sa short term goals mo? Kasi ako, I work as an accountant but hindi tlga eto yung long term goal ko.

Puwede naman magkaiba mam kasi short term puwede ma achieve ng short period of time na guaranteed na magagawa mo. Example next week bibili ako ng ice cream, long term next year bibili ako ng pagawaan ng sapatos.

Wow, at least, you weren't hungry during the marathon because you had beer and cake before that. Perhaps it slowed down your speed? hehehe... I am not an athletic person but maybe I would join this club so I could do some physical activities (and well, join the food trips too LoL). I guess it's time to go on a diet coz the food is already getting much more expensive.

Yes, I also joined this club to get some physical activities as I find myself always sitting in my desk lately. And with regards to price inflation, I'm thinking of doing meal preps so I spend less in buying food outside. Thank you for sharing your thoughts :)
