Holiday rush is immensely felt in the grocery and on most food establishment. So when my family decided to have a simple celebration for our staffs, we made sure to buy the necessaries days earlier to avoid getting stuck in the grocery store.
My brother and I are in charge of buying the groceries for our party, which mostly consist of the plastic utensils, toper wears, paper plates, and liters of soft drinks.
As a smart buyer, we make sure to compare the prices of similar items and choose the one that offers the best deals. We do this by computing the price per piece to determine where we can save the most. We also bought plastic containers to be used as storage for left over foods. Luckily, we saw a buy 1 take 1 deal. What a steal!
Usually, when I'm task to go for a grocery run, I dont keep a physical list of the things i need to buy because i could memorize it all. But this time, to avoid forgetting an item, my mom prepared a checklist of things to buy.
While shopping, we got a little hungry so we bought some snacks for ourselves. We all know that the task of grocery shopping is quite tiring. Pastries and Yakult drink to the rescue!
We went home to rest after our grocery run.
We usually buy our grocery at SM Hypermarket because it has the least queue in the cashier. Most groceries inside the mall have crazy amount of crowd, more so during the holiday season.
