Happy weekend, dear hivers! Along with the Christmas season, year end parties and Christmas events are making December the busiest and jolliest month of the year. Our company recently celebrated our year end party at Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu.
The event fall on a Friday night so the management gave the rest of the afternoon as no work day for employees to prepare for the event. On the same day, our sweet 13th month pay was also released. My friend and I went to J-mall that afternoon to see what we can buy in preparation for the party. I was planning to buy a new office shoes, which could also be worn on semi-formal events. Unfortunately, the crowd was too overwhelming because of the pay day sale so we ended up not buying anything at all.
The theme of our year end party was Nautical ships. We were required to wear blue and white formal outfits. Some of my colleagues opted to have their hair and make up done, but I chose to do it on my own since i don't have any special participation in the event, plus this is still my first time attending their year end party.
Inside the ballroom, lots of food and drinks were served. I enjoyed their mango crepe dessert and cocktail drinks.
Of course the year end party wouldn't be complete without raffles and giveaways. This year, huge prizes were being given. The grand prize includes a trip to Hongkong for two, a tripod, 20,000 pesos cash (330.00 USD), espresso machines, ipad, and among other. Unfortunately, I was not able to win anything in the raffle. huhu.
The night continued with even more drinks and good music. My friends and I celebrated with beer on one hand and some left over lechon from dinner on the other hand.
This wouldn't be the last Christmas event in our company as there is another Christmas dinner coming up soon.

Eyyy, it's party everywhere na no, then the 13th month pay talaga pinaka exciting. Haha. Sad, Never ko naranasan coz I don't work, huhuhu. Anyways ang sosyal nang venue nyo. The foods looks amazing too.
PH companies really celebrate year ends with a bang. In our office, majority of the office budget is allocated for the Year end party. Not to mention the annual tradition of New Hire Presentation.
Im a new hire myself but good thing the management skipped the presentation part. Haha
