Happy weekend, my dear Hivers! I had a chance to take a glimpse of our pantry late at night. I love how tranquil it feels in contrast of the hustle and bustle of this place during work hours. It's as if we're living on a penthouse condo because of the city lights.
Usually, when all employees are already out, the security guard turn off the lights of our office, including the pantry area, and just stay on the couch lobby.
A few hours earlier, around 7pm, my office mate and I decided to eat dinner before going home. We both craved for pancit Canton so we bought a pouch of instant fried noodles in the nearby convenient store.
This is our dinner for tonight, a pack of fried noodles, gimbap, and yakult for drinks :) It's actually our first time to try this combo and surprisingly, it goes well together. I imagine ourselves living in Korea and eating some convenient store foods. Plus we only spent 100 pesos (less than 2 USD) each for this dinner.
We stayed a little late in the office to avoid the traffic in the streets since the Sinulog Festival is still ongoing. While I do love Sinulog and celebrating Sto Nino, I just hate the crowd that comes with it. Streets are very busy and not to mention, noisy due to sound systems. So this time, I preferred to stay indoor.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the 9 days novena due to conflict of schedule. I also got sick during the 7th and 8th day so I opted to attend the mass virtually, through Facebook live. But I don't think that counts as a completed task haha.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
