I want to highlight this picture.

This is The Nipa hut, Nipa huts are a significant part of Filipino cultural heritage, reflecting the ingenuity and resourcefulness of its people in adapting to their environment. It is basically made from natural resources like woods and nipa (dried palm leaves) and in what i have seen these nipa huts uses no nails. A short story, back when I was a child, We used to have Nipa house in my mother's provice in antique. It is elevated and spacious. I use to sleep there when we visit antique because its cozy, and the floor is made up of bamboo and have spaces between them, that is why it is cool inside because the air passes through the spaces in the floor. Seeing this hut made me reminisce, how my grandparents would make me lugaw(rice porridge) and ate at the front porch talking about their experiences in life, I wish I could experience it once again.

All in all, it was a fun and great experience visiting a museum where you can reminisce and gain knowledge at the same time. I hope that all of you could visit the museum and experience what I experienced.

“While my interest in natural history has added very little to my sum of achievement, it has added immeasurably to my sum of enjoyment in life.”

I loved my trip to the National Museum of Anthropology. I plan on going back there one of these days. I love seeing everything about the past of the Philippines. Keeps making me wonder what would our life be like if we weren't colonized by Spain.
