Christmas Lights in Mandaue City: A Little Late, But Totally Worth It

in Hive PH22 hours ago
Okay, so I know it’s already January, and Christmas was a few weeks ago. But bear with me, this blog is about the beautiful Christmas lights in Mandaue City, and honestly, they were so stunning that they deserve to be talked about, no matter the month. Better late than never, right?

My lover and I decided to check out the lights in Mandaue City on a warm December night, and I have to say, the place was absolutely glowing. The streets were decked out with lights, from Christmas trees to colorful displays everywhere you looked. It felt like walking through a Christmas card, with all the twinkling lights making everything look magical. Honestly, I wasn’t even mad about the warm weather because the lights were enough to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

Among them were the wonderful Christmas tree and the water fountain planted in the middle of the plaza and many others. The thing was tall. It looked so bright, and it seemed as if it was specifically designed for taking photos. Therefore, of course, we took a lot of pictures. We even tried to take a cute selfie; however, let us not deny that the tree might be much better at holding cute poses than we are. Hahahahaha, just kidding. We also just strolled around the city and pulled over many times to have a look around and enjoy the lights. It was not just about putting up some decorations though; it was more about having the company and sharing the moment.

However, there were certainly some funny moments. Also, we tried to guess where exactly has the most ‘unconventional’ Christmas lights/alike, and yes, we got caught in this area where there are all sorts of luminous Christmas decorations. It's so beautiful here, and there's a lot of wonderful decorations and Santa Claus inside.

Finally, at the end of the night, the realization struck me that perhaps it does not actually matter that I am writing this in January. The feeling of Christmas, of being with the person dear and close to me, doesn’t really fade with the calendar. The lights in Mandaue reminded me of that feeling, and it was certainly a perfect way to close out the year.

Thus, no matter that this post is a little late, I will simply say this, if you are from Cebu and did not get to see firsthand the Christmas lights in Mandaue, they are worth looking forward to next year. Or maybe, just use the shine and memories whenever possible because a little Christmas magic is never really out of season.

The Christmas Tree is so beautiful, I so love the color. The Pailaw in there is just all amazing. This is what's exciting talaga in Christmas Season no, the colorful Pailaw and the events left and right. I still have a lot to share with Christmas Theme on it too, skl. Lol
