Hello readers! Trust you are all doing fine. Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. Let's move on to my experience at the 6-day CTU event in Danao. On Monday I didn’t get to play so, throughout the day, I sat through various events that were taking place nearby.
Early morning when it was about 6 am we woke up and took our showers. After showering, our coach reminded us not to forget breakfast as we could feel hungry later on. Once we finished taking breakfast, we came back at the grandstand of where were staying. From there, one could watch activities taking place on a track right away. When we returned there were some people playing soccer and athletes starting to run for it.
I find it really interesting watching sportsmen because of their anxiousness to win races. They give everything they have in order to win a race; We also saw someone fall out from running – I realized then how hard it can be on runners…I mean just think of various possibilities like fainting due to lack of air… It inspires me seeing them perform well in athletics as well as motivate me better than my previous performances ahead of me too.
It must have been somewhere around 9 a.m. when the soccer players swapped and the track games commenced, specifically in hurdle races. The flexibility of those players jumping high over those hurdles was what made me wonder most when I watched the game first. And that is how someone also fell down; however, he could not expect to win.
It simply demonstrated how much they wanted to triumph after falling off. This is a lesson for all of us as it teaches that we should keep fighting for success in life even after failing many times because without persistence one will not attain his aspiration in life.
This was followed by women’s hurdle events just like men’s first game. There was a lady who fell, whereas our representative kept on trying even though she did not succeed. One important thing people should always know about is that at times it does not matter who wins but rather how we fought for it. Successful people are seen slowly but surely rising up the ladder as they keep moving despite results obtained.
Our coach messaged us to get sandwiches for the day after some athletic games were watched by us. They made us happy because we did not expect to be sitting there, all of a sudden, and have some snacks for free. From there, we were able to proceed with the 500 meter dash game after eating our snacks. This was not news to me since I had watched it before both girls as well as boys. The performance by the athletes really surprised me. It is difficult to run at full speed for the entire distance of a 500 meter dash. Personally, I am unable to because I get easily tired without enough oxygen.
At afternoon, we watched such games like sprinting, discus throw, shot put, hurdling 1500 meters run and walk and ten kilometers run and walk among others. The winner of the 10 km run was so impressive who effortlessly completed his twenty laps around oval while maintaining high rates of supply of oxygen in his body system. Please let me know if i made any mistakes regarding naming the specific events.
Our Coach called us for dinner when it was six o’clock after watching all those games .After taking our meals ,we went back and relaxed at the stand that was large .While resting beside there ,I saw an unusual game on the other side.I approached it out of curiosity. As I got closer, I realized they were playing soccer, and it was a girls' game.
After watching, I headed home because I needed to get some rest for the game tomorrow. On my way, I also saw people practicing for the dance sports competition, and they were incredibly talented dancers with a good chance of winning. Today's experience was truly memorable for me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity. As for what happened in my upcoming game tomorrow, you'll have to stay tuned for my next blog post to find out! Thank you, dear readers, for visiting my blog. Your support motivates me to keep writing. Goodnight and have a wonderful day!

I missed my Alma Mater. CTU-Danao. Thank you @johnfritz246 for sharing your experience during your stay there. I hope you had so much fun. 🫶
Aw, thanks for the trip down memory lane @cup-bearer! CTU-Danao holds a special place in my heart too. It was a blast sharing my experiences there, and yeah, loads of fun memories for sure!
Danao? The view is 10/10. Anyways, you're such an athletic person which I could never haha
Thanks @mariejeijeim! I'm not much of an athlete, but I'm glad you think so. 😄 I've been enjoying the scenery all day,
Thank you for sharing the beautiful oval in Danao. I missed seeing an oval since the CTU-Main oval after the strong earthquake was used as the relocation area of the offices affected by the earthquake. @johnfritz246
It's nice to hear you liked the oval in Danao @fixyetbroken! That's a shame about the CTU-Main oval, though. Hopefully, the new spot for the offices works out okay. Nature can be comforting, especially during times of change.
Yeah, we cannot complain, we have no choice at all. Ahaha @johnfritz246
I never been to CTU Danao Campus, however, the pictures of your blog Sir @johnfritz246 makes me imagine the place. The area looks greener, wider, and more sports amenities than the main campus, amazing school. By the way, thank you for sharing Sir and God bless.
Thanks for your kind words @diamondinthesky! Glad you liked the pics. CTU Danao Campus is indeed beautiful. You should visit if you can @diamondinthesky . Take care and God bless!
