PART 3~

I was so stunned, and I can't move as I heard him telling this shocking words to me.

FLASHBACK~~~

Bata pa lang ako ay inaalagaan na ako nila lola. I'm not mommy’s girl nor daddy’s girl, even I'm just the only daugther of my parents, I'm not spoiled by them. My parents are always busy in their medical missions, they are both doctors. I was seven and they were always out of town and that was the reason why they let me live with my grandparents.

I felt lonely, but lola tried her best to entertain me. One day I decided to walk alone at their amusement park, I envy those with companion while I'm here, alone.

“Hey kid, are you alone too?” narinig ko ang boses sa likuran. Nilingon ko ito at tinanguan ko.
Sandali itong natigil at ngumiti “Nice, Im alone too. Play with me. I want to try the seesaw.” He called me kid while he looks like kid too. And funny how he act matured while he's young too.

That kid became my companion. He went to the amusement park every Sunday, Monday, and Saturday every summer. But we also get separated when he went home to London. But when I was 11when he came back and played with me again. He was tall and handsome man, payat pa siya noon.

The closer we were together, the higher the chances I fell inlove with him. Ang bata kong puso tumibok sa isang payat na matangkad. I was 11 and he was 12. I was 12 and henwas 13 when I admitted my puppy love to him.

“You’re playing with me, Right Zel?” natatawang sabi niya dahilan para matahimik ako sa kahihiyan. I should’nt tell him this.

“Kid...” I stopped him from calling that.

“I said don't call me kid! And you..” turo ko sa kanya. “You act matured but you're just one year older that me!” nalaglag ang panga nito at mukhang naguguluhan sa sinasabi ko.

Me too. I don't understand why I'm angry towards him.

“Okay! I don't understand why my heart beats so fast and loud everytime Im with you.”

“Let me hear it's beat then?” he slowly walked to me and hug me tight, feeling mt heartbeats.

“Baby, your heart is not beating fine. Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig sa kahihiyan. This isn't right okay? Bata ka pa. Don't like me cause my heart’s beat for someone else. I'm sorry.” pagkatapos niyang bitawan ang salitang iyon bumitaw na rin siya sa pagkayakap.

“Now, go and play inside your house. I'm going.” ngumiti siya at ginulo ang buhok ko. Tumakbo ako deretso sa loob ng kwarto habang inaalala ang kahihiyang ginawa ko. Naramdaman ko nalang ang pagbagsak ng aking mga luha hanggang sa patuloy na ang aking pag hikbi.

‘My innocent heart’s crying for someone who love someone else.’

BEATS hahaha, ang bata kong puso, kawawa naman.

I never seen him after that night of confessions.

Years passed and I left Norga to study in Manila. There I met Jake, we both fall in love but later on, we both fall out, so we decided to break up. I focused on my studies and I'm happy I graduated with my course in Business Management.

END OF FLASHBACK~~

Aaminin kong nasaktan ako dahil hindi ko siya agad nakilala. I remember him as Toni, ang payat na matangkad kong kaibigan, who broke my little heart.

He’s voice was soft, which is different now. Ang mga mata’y napakaseryoso, ang tindig niya’y napakapormal at lalaking lalaki siya. Hindi na siya ang dating payat kasi lumaki na ang katawan niya. Hindi na rin siya tawa ng tawa o palabiro gaya ng dati.

Gwapo siya noon, pero hindi ko inakalang mas gwa-gwapo pa siya ngayon.

But wait...Hindi ako bingi noon no?!

Sinapak ko ang braso niyang nakayakap parin sa akin.

“You better stop playing with me this time Brixton Neil.” sabi ko habang sinasapak parin siya.

“No. I'm not playing.” Hinagod niya ang likuran ko at tinatahan ako sa pag hikbi. “I was afraid to confess my love for you at our early ages, Aizle. We both know that it's puppy love but even it is, I still like you. You don't know how happy I was when you confessed to me.” tumigil siya at kumalas sa pagkayakap. He look at me in the eyes. “But I know we were young, and the right decision I made is to stay away. For you to become succesful in studying. And for me finish my studies too.”

Napatitig din ako sa kanya..

“When I heard you got a boyfriend at the age of 15? If Im not mistaken. There I doubt my decision. If staying away from you means this hurt, then I accepted it since I saw how happy you were with him.” nanlaki ang mga mata ko gulat.

He stalked me in those years?

Magsasalita na nasa ako kaso nagpatuloy siya.

“I felt jealous. Nagsisi nga akong hindi ko sinabi ang tunay na nararamdaman.” napangisi siya.

“I dated some girls and I tried to forget you, but this silly heart can't.” bahagya siyang natawa habang nagkwekwento. “Years passed and now I'm here at Norga Island to atleast feel the memories we had back then. Pero sinong mag aakalang sa ganoong sitwasyon tayo nagkatagpo.” I guess he's pertaining to our first meeting in my favorite spot.

Marami pa siyang sinasabi habang umabot kami ng isa’t kalahating oras sa kwentuhan.

“Now tell me, Zel. Did you got jealous with Leigh? I want to know if you have atleast feelings towards me.” nanghihina ang boses niya.

Napatango nalang ako, ngumiti siya sa akin.

“Don’t worry, she's just my friend now.” ngumiti ulit siya sa akin “I want to court you, Aizle. Can I?” sumeryoso ang kaniyang mata habang nakatingin sa akin.

“After you hurt me years ago? Manliligaw ka sakin?” tanong ko at natawa naman siya.

“Sorry it was’nt my intention.” humalukipkip siya “You hurt me too, you did'nt recognize me.” nakabusangot na niyang sabi.

“Eh sa mas lalo kang nag matured. Gwapo na noon pero mas gwap-” natigil ako sa sinasabi ko at lumingon sa kanya, nakangisi siya! “Huwag na nga! Lumalaki ang ulo mo!” umirap ako.

“Syempre ikaw ba naman ang pumuri diba, hehe.” he smirk. Tch.

Days, weeks, and months passed. I let Brixton Neil to court me, he’s also courting my grandparents and my parents too. Kahit gustong gusto naman nila lolo and lola si Brix, nag effort parin siya sa panliligaw.

I'm happy to see him achieving his goals too. Siya na ang nag mamanage sa Gomez Hotels and Resorts. Marami ang nagbago at mas nakilala ang Gomez Hotel sa ibat ibang panig ng Pilipinas. Nagsasanay palang ako sa pagmamanage ng Amusement Park nila lola, and I'm glad that this business is also rising.

Mas nakilala din ang Norga Island dahil sa mga Gomez at Domiguez at ang kanilang mga business partners sa lugar na ito. They assured that tourists will surely love their stay here in Norga Island because of new services offers, tourists spots, hotels and anything that tourists will find can be find here.

Nakakatuwa lang dahil kahit na medyo busy na si Brix ngayon ay may oras parin siya sa akin. Hindi naman sa hinihingi ko ang oras niya ha. Natutuwa ako sa efforts niyang manligaw, minsan dumadalaw sa bahay at ngaluluto ng dinner para sa amin nila lolo and lola kahit hindi naman sana kailangan. Madalas niya akong turuan sa pagmamanage ng business nila lola. Aaminin kong succesful siya sa pagtururo.

“Natutuwa ako sa inyong dalawa, hija and hijo. Sana patuloy niyong gawin kung ano ang tama.
I'm glad you both doing great in managing our business.” nakangiting sabi ni lolo Philip.

Ngayon lang nanaman kami nagkasama sa dinner dahil sa kanya kanyang pagkakabalahan.

“Thank you po lolo, it's because Brix is helping me in managing my grandparents’ business.” sabi ko sabay ngiti kay Brix.

“It is because you're a fast learner, Aizle Hailey. I'm proud of you.” malapad na ngiti ang binigay niya sa akin.

“Well thanks but, you're a big help hehe.”

“Ofcourse, He is Apo! Inspired ka eh hahaha.” natatawang sambit ni lolo habang nakatingin sa akin natawa nalang din ako.

“Naku. Mas inlove ata ang Apo namin Feliz hahaha. Akalain mong tumatawa siyang mag isa sa opisina niya. I thought he is sleeping but namimilipit ata sa kilig hahaha.” natatawa ako sa kwento ni lolo Philip “Kapag breakfast namann malapad ang ngiti niya. Hindi naman siya ganyan kasaya noon hahaha.” napangiti ako sabay sulyap kay Brix, umakbay naman siya sa akin. At nagtaas ng kilay haha buking.

“Kala mo naman sinagot na HAHAHAHA” nakitawa ako kay lola Thiana dahil hindi ko napigilan. Actually I have my plan but ofcourse I want to piss him off first.

“But lola, Jake, my ex boyfriend wants to court me again.” napanguso kong sabi kay lola Thiana.

“Edi let him court yo-”

“Lola?” ayan na salubong nanaman ang kilay ni Brix haha “No, Don't let that boy court you.”

“Why not Apo?” natatawa na si lola Thiana. “Besides, pareho lang naman kayong manliligaw kay Aizle. Then it's up to Aizle who she will choose.”

Natatawa ako kila lola at Brix. I find it cute kapag nakikita kong salubong ang kilay niya. I think he's a bit mad.

“Hmm it's okay, let him Aizle.” nakangisi na siya ngayon. “I’ll make sure he’ll back off anyway hahaha.” tch.

Sige na, over confident talaga siya e haha.

“Tch. Manliligaw yun? Hindi ka nga dinadalaw dito sa Norga e!” nandito kami ngayon sa favorite spot ko, kung saan kami unang nagkita after 13 years.

“Hahaha, e dadalaw naman siy-”

“Huh! Hindi. I won’t accept him in my hotel.”

“Sa bahay nila lol-

“Okay I’ll accept him in my hotel, just don't let that boy stay in your grandparents’ mansion.”

“HAHAHAH nagseselos ka ba?” natatawa kong tanong.

“Tsk!”

“Dont be jealous hahaha.”

“Eh sinong magseselos, ex mo yun e. I once got jealous before when I heard you were together.” nakabusangot na siya ngayon. “I’m confident hehe, but I'm afraid a bit because he was your ex.”

“Tsk tsk, don't worry hindi naman ako pumayag na magpaligaw ulit sa kanya.” nakangiti kong sabi pero malungkot parin siya. “Dadalaw lang sila with our friends. They want to see the beauty of Norga Island.” nakangiti kong sabi.

“I actually want to say something to you.” I smiled sweetly.

Sumeryoso na ulit ang mukha niya, seems like he's being attentive to what I'm saying. Ganyan siya lagi sa akin, and I love it.

“Say it baby, I'm listening.” aniya habang nakatayo pa kaming dalawa.

Ayan nanaman yang baby baby e, hindi pa naman kami. Hmm, I have my plan anyway.

Pinagmasdan ko ang magandang kapaligiran, ang mga puno, mga bulaklak, at ang magandang kalagitan.

Binaling mo sa kanya ang tingin at ngumiti.

“I love you, Brixton Neil. I'm letting you to be my boyfriend now.” kitang kita ko ang pagkabigla sa kanyang mga mata, hanggang sa unti unting sumilay ang kanyang napakagandang ngiti sa labi.

“What Aizle? Can you say it again. I want to hear it again!”

“I love you and I'm letting you to be my boyfriend!”

Nagtatalon na siya sa tuwa.

“Yes!” nakangiti niyang sigaw na siyang nagpangiti rin sa akin.

My tears pooled in my eyes while I'm reminiscing every moment with him.

Kung paanong ang bata kong puso ay umibig sa kanya. Kung paano ako nasaktan, at kung paano ko siya ulit nagustuhan.

I never felt this happiness before. I know that it's the beginning of our story as couple and I know that there are many things ahead to encounter. But now, I am happy.

He slowly walked towards me, parang natigil ang pag ihip ng hangin, habang nasisilayan ko ang magandang ngiti sa kanyang labi. Ang kanyang magandang mata na nagsasabi kong paano ko siya napasaya sa ngayon.

Unti unting bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko habang palapit siya sa akin. He looked at me on my teary eyes, seryoso na siya ngayon. Hanggang sa dahan dahang hinila niya ako at niyakap.

Now I'm locked in his massive arms, feeling his warm hugs. My heart beats really fast.

Now I proved that Norga Island is the Island of hope and love. This island witnessed our grandparents’ love.

Isang lugar lang nakakapagpabilis ng tibok nito, isang tao lang nagparanas sa akin ang magmahal ng ganito...

And that's Brixton Neil Gomez.

“Why are you crying? Aren't you happy?” umiling ako.

“I’m happy, Brix. Saksi ang Islang ito kung gaano ako kasaya. I'm just emotional haha.”

“I’m so happy, baby. I love you Aizle Hailey Dominguez.”

“I love you too, Brixton Neil Gomez.”

“Hmm, you should. Haha. I want us to live here in Norga Island for good, after setting up our wedding.”

“Huh? Eh kasasagot lang kita a?”

“So? Doon din naman patungo yun. Once you let me dated you back then, I date to marry. And that's only you I want and love Aizle.”

“I want to grow old with you, and live our life here in Norga Island. I want US to end up like our grandparents.” napangiti akong nakinig sa kanya. Iyon din kasi ang gusto.

Sa sandaling ito, ramdam ko ang magkahalong saya, kilig at tuwang nararamdaman. Hinihiling kong sana hindi na matapos ang araw na ito. Sana ganito nalang kami palagi. Pero alam kong kahit lumipas ang araw na ito, mahal na mahal ko parin siya at masaya akong kasama siya.
