How’s Life?

While everyone is celebrating their graduation or recognition rites this week, I’m still only half way through my final semester. My calendar looked like a war zone since last week, and going to get worst until May.

Thankfully, I got a little break for a few days, so I figured… maybe it’s a perfect time for a quick academic life update?

Lately, I’ve been feeling really super lazy about going to school. I’ve been waking up later than usual, maybe because I’m just too exhausted? I leave for school before 6:00 A.M. and usually get home around 7:00 or 8:00 P.M. Honestly, who wouldn’t feel tired with a schedule like that?

This last semester has been rough. Our major subjects are getting more complicated, project deadlines are piling up one after another, and college entrance exams are happening at the same time. Right now, our research project is the biggest headache for me. Additionally, we also have a project proposal due for another subject.

So yeah…. I’m still wondering, which one should I even start first?

The worst my part ? My laziness usually wins, which leads me on procrastinating and cramming. Every single time!

Despite the chaos I’m still surviving. I’m actually proud to say I got a perfect score on one of my exams (lucky me!), and I’ve still able to submit my requirements on time. However, I always do struggle on not falling a sleep during class discussions. I try to keep myself awake, but somehow I always ended up falling asleep and missing part of the discussion.

Also, I was able to achieve an academic excellence award last semester despite the stress and struggles. Honestly, I didn’t expect it though. I was surprised but also really proud of myself.

Even with my busy schedule, I make sure to treat myself. After a long and tiring day at school, I often reward myself by having a cup of coffee or my favorite s at fast foods . Let’s say I’m a little costly, but it’s my way to reward myself. Sometimes, my friends and I even hung out after class to watch the sunset and rant about life.

After holy week, I’m know things are going to get hectic again with our research defense and final exam are coming up. My goal this semester is to survive and hopefully graduate with academic excellence award. Would that be possible though? Maybe, but I’m going for it.

This semester hasn’t been easy, but it definitely taught me to work hard and do my best.

To all the other students out there like me, let’s keep on fighting. We’ve got this!

Aigooo, I see you're having a hard time, but glad to know you're surviving it. No choice but to survive no? Fighting lang. Your schedule is really full, kapag talaga student mas marami pang gingugol na oras sa school kesa sa bahay ano. Aigooo. And congrats to your achievements. And you definitely deserve the treat, dapat lang, I think that's also a good companion to survive the hellish day in school.

Minsan feel ko nga bumibisita n lang ako sa bahay tas sa school tumitira 😭… ems HAHAH

Everything is temporary, and all the hardships will come to an end. So keep fighting! God bless you 🤗

Thank you so much po for your kind words and encouragement. It truly means a lot. ☺️
