Love is in the air
January flew by so quickly that 1/12 of the year had already gone by in the blink of an eye. Sometimes, I feel that time can go so fast, but at other times it slows down for me. The first four weeks of the year was the former; it went by like lightning. Anyways, February is already here and summer is just around the corner, which is the time of the year that I'm most excited about. Swimming in the river where I grew up with friends; going on family picnics in a nearby resort; just hanging out with friends and biking all over town from morning 'till the sun goes down. Ah, the life of being young and carefree is something that say it is good to be alive. February is the #love month. This is my thing. Even when I was younger, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Seeing couples on dates, a random dude hiding a single stem of rose behind his back, waiting to give it to his crush at the school entrance, parents celebrating with their kiddos. For me, #valentinesday is something that should be celebrated with family. Hopefully, everyone has someone to celebrate it with, even if an individual chooses to be single, there's always people that you love in your life; your best friend, parents, pets, there's always someone you can choose to love.
Loving Hive
Yes, we can also choose to love inanimate objects. The #hive ecosystem is one of the things that I "love" being a part of. It's an all-in-one platform where we can share our creative side through blogs and videos, meet cool online people, play games, learn, and even earn some play money. Play money because I haven't invested heavily so my earnings here have not reached a point where it can be an income replacement, but it's enough to keep me happy. Because, treating this as a side hustle while having fun is the best payment for me. I get to de-stress from the offline, real-world life, play games, and shift my focus elsewhere. It's another world that we can go to if real life becomes all too real.
HPUD
From last month's 3,173.78, I have powered up 39.399 liquid Hive, plus the HP I earned from curating and power ups I did during the month, etc. I now have 3,380.135, a 207.355 increase in my total staked Hive. It takes me closer to my HP goals and I get to have more to delegate or use in my own personal curation efforts.

Conclusion
Finally, Happy New Year! We have just celebrated Chinese new year, which brings us to the year of the Wood Snake. Tigers, Rabbits, Dragons, and Snakes are bound to experience growth, adventure and success in 2025, or so I've heard. For what it's worth, I find these predictions helpful in motivating us to work harder in whatever we are doing. Like everything else in life, we have outside forces that we cannot control, but the internal motivation is something that we can work on, if we choose to do so. I use whatever I can to help me create a winning attitude towards my life.
