The Oriental Lily is a graceful and elegant flower with an enchantingly sweet and intoxicating fragrance, which makes it perfect as the wedding table reception centerpiece or bouquet highlight making sure to convey one's deeply sincere and passionate feelings that can melt even the most ice-cold heart.
Hello Hiveans! Hope that you are all in the best of health and feeling good today. It has been a while since I've posted anything so I was eager to publish a short life update and just bring out some chill vibes with this Lily flower that my friend brought over.
September has been a busy and productive month in terms of my offline activities as I've been able to navigate through some challenges when it comes to financial liquidity; mostly, because of unexpected expenses, which happens to all of us.
Looking back, the axiom on having an emergency fund really holds true in my recent experience. Some expenses arose because of sickness (one of our doggos had to be brought to the vet clinic and the tests alone cost more than US$100), debt payments (Home Credit 0% interest doesn't mean that you don't pay fees; it cost more than 10% even with the zero interest deals they offer), and some impulse buys (LOL). We also just came from a month long reunion with some relatives from abroad that added a huge deficit in our cash / credit card situation. It's so easy to just swipe away at any given time, but paying what I've bought on a whim is the challenge.
In this situation, I can really say that having the control to resist the temptation to buy stuff that I don't really need or isn't something that I can afford at this time is a skill that I need to learn to become financially free. Luckily, I was able to raise some money by selling some of my buy and sell items and even had to sell a little swap.hive to cover the expenses.
October is just around the corner and I think that I can go back to accumulating Hive sans unexpected budget glitches and impulse buying on our end. I still have some cash left in my emergency fund, which also need replenishing, so I'm still good with that, for now.
And, that's it for today. We are now in the home stretch of the year. The time to reap the rewards of our year-long grind and to do an accounting review of how well we did for the year. So, wishing you all a productive and profitable last quarter. May you gain more blessings and have peace of mind until the end of the year.
